It says defile...wow, this is NOT a good word in English lol. Images defile dior sounds like the images are defiling Dior....wow, not good! lol. I know, it is not englush AND has accent marks above the letters even! It is french lol. But, still....looks funny to me! I wonder how many words in english look funny to other langauges? Maybe aliens in other planets listen to our radio shows and are totaly affended at our view of their cooking...yet, it was simply a car salemans advertisment! lol. How can I design what Dior has already designed! lol. You mean, design a sort of inspired thing? Ah, these pale in comparison to the real thing...my cars especially feel like this, as do even the replica style of cars in SL! But, you mean the same style of cothing, pallettes of color? I wonder what makes it NOT close enough? Have you seen examples of clothes in SL that are to different, yet are claimed to be the same style? And, to avoid the issues of actually to closely making something...what elements do these newly designed clothes have ot have to be close enough? I can do 3D modelling, though clothes are not my thing...I like...uh, more solid objects because I don't have a flair for the wrinkles and movement of cloth lol. I wanna know what the customers want to see , so tell me What do you want? id like to see SL revolve less around the toy L$ economy .. id like to see the flora & fauna more resemble natural ecosystems .. id like to see weather in SL .. including storms & floods & natural disasters .. id like for avatars to hav2 eat .. & could get sick .. & even die .. id like to see communicable disease & epidemics in SL id like for sharks to be really dangerous .. & venomous snakes id like to see novel approaches to music venues .. beyond the endlessly repeated club scene stereotype .. id like for stuff to be wearable or usable as soon as you got it .. not hav2 rezz an object, open it, load the contents then remember to 'take' the stupid thing .. id like for the building & texturing & scripting functions to be more intuitive & user friendly .. clothes & shoes easier to edit .. things easier to line up & position .. id like for notices to be organized by date & time id like for settings & preferences to be easier to figure out id like to see less lag .. & viewers that didnt crash .. & mesh viewers to be less processor intensive id like for animations to be more realistic .. & avatar controls more natural & lifelike id like for more avatars to be able to be on a sim @ the same time .. so we could have some really big parties !! .. i could go on & on about things id like to see in sl .. There are some lovely designs and sizing has come a long way but very little are perfect. I seek PERFECTION!! LOL I'd also like to see better avatar skeleton mesh or at least an inworld plastic surgeon specialist. I have a little bit of Kryten nose and chin going on that I can't get rid of. Seriously though.. to the designers out there. Complaints that can be fixed: 1. Shoes. Alpha layers for feet are mandatory now. Lighting and shadows messes with invisa-prims. There are plenty of pre-made feet alphas that work and thanks to those who made them but they should be included these days. Even if we can't see the flaw ourselves we still need to make ourselves look as good as we can be to everyone I also love open toed shoe. Skin matching has come a long way but not completely, only a select few do it right and one of which is no longer in SL.. Bye Kalnins, I love your shoes and I'll miss your store. Also.. I would *LOVE* to see stockings and socks options for open toed shoes. Preferably matched to the most popular hosiery makers out there. Preferably stockings that don't hide my perfectly manicured toes but shows them off like RL stockings can. 2. Hair. Ever see beautiful hair that has that halo of nothing around it.
