This will be the final Destination Guide highlights post for this year. I hope to continue them in the new year, with weekly updates on what's new on the Second Life Destination Guide. In the year 2022, we hope to give the Destination Guide a much-needed facelift and possibly a few other changes, which I am really looking forward to! 

So far this December we've shared many different winter-themed destinations in videos and blog posts. In this final blog post, I am going to share a few more of my favorites that I don't believe have been featured as of yet. The Outer Garden

The Outer Garden is a place where love is hiding. The landing point is filled with happiness where the romantic atmosphere and pale lights surround you, which would make your time with friends and lovers special. Also, the mirror standing at the landing point will take you to some other gardens, where you can enjoy walking and taking pictures. You will have a sweet time in this brilliant season, the RoseGarden, and pale lights.

North Pole - A Beautiful Christmas Escape

Discover the forest and dive into a magical winter wonderland with hidden secrets. Strap on your skates or take a relaxing horse ride in the snow. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere and cuddle or dance with your loved ones or perhaps take pictures together. This place impresses with true winter nature, instead of just background scenes.

Snowdrops

Snowdrops is a family-friendly photogenic winter destination with many activities for the whole family! Visit the festive market, venture out on the ski slopes, go ice skating, ride Teegle horses, go snowboarding, play mini-golf, and visit the Christmas workshop. There are also many free festive gifts available from many fantastic designers. Come celebrate the season at Snowdrops!

Snowhaven

Winter has arrived at the Bellisseria Fairgrounds! Snowhaven returns to welcome the Second Life community to a rustic winter retreat until December 29th. Walk across the bridge to explore the trails and find hidden areas. Enjoy winter activities using the provided equipment or bring your own. The large red ornaments are teleporters. Come visit and have fun!

The Glass Slipper

The Glass Slipper (TGS) is an elegant, romantic location that offers ballroom dancing and so much more. There are two free-to-use wedding venues, carriage rides, boat rides, live vendors, and beautiful photogenic spots. Catering to both couples and singles, The Glass Slipper is a friendly, fun PG atmosphere to spend some time in.

Dreamz Express

The Dreamz Express has arrived! Relive the magic of this classic holiday story with your family on a real train. Do you believe? Visit Toy Land, the North Pole, and Meet Santa and his helpers!

Cozy Corner with Egnog the Winter Troll

A Cozy Corner during the holiday season. Relax with a mug of hot cocoa, grab some skates for a bit of skating or browse the exclusive little craft market before venturing through the magic portal to find Egnog the Winter Troll. If you have been good he will give you free gifts when his tummy is rubbed. Grab your chance before Egnog disappears on New Years Day!

'Tis The Season

'Tis The Season at this Winter Wonderland at Moochie for all things festive this winter. Old fashioned snowy sleigh rides, hot cocoa at the outdoor Christmas market, ice-skating on the frozen lake, visit Mrs. Claus' Christmas tree lot, or just get lost pressing through the snow. If you're in need of rest after exploring, make your way to the Christmas campfire, sit back beneath the stars, and enjoy a storytelling classic.

Let it Snow! A Winter Wonderland

A snowy, winter setting for dancing and romancing. Come and explore, dance, ice-skate, take photographs, or just hang out. Everyone is welcome! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Winter Hollow

Winter Hollow includes a full region of vintage winter holiday peace. Take the horse-drawn sleigh tours (aerial or ground-based) of the Hollow, ride the pony ride for weekly gifts, or stop by for one of the skating events. Explore the caves and Winterley Manor, fully decorated for the season!

A Seanchai Winter Holiday

Cozy nooks to curl up with a good book, a meeting place for friends to chat or play games, enjoy Christmas videos, go ice skating, ride the trains and carousel, or have a snowball fight. Enjoy two levels of holiday cheer, inspired by fantasy and good company, and special seasonal story events.
