We have over 100 Haunted Destinations currently on the Second Life Destination Guide, and there will be more coming over the next couple of weeks. There are also some wonderful events going on that we wanted to highlight today.

I went through the Boystown Haunted Experience today and it is incredible! I screamed several times, so many jump-scares! It's kind of like an escape room idea, and I made it to the end! Check out their trailer on YouTube.

A 20+ Minute Experience -- This spooky walk-through attraction with interactive experiences is designed to terrify and entertain. Start out at Horror House, where an innocent visit to Madame Ruby's Fortune Telling turns out to be a gateway to a demonic world with incredible monsters, amazing special effects, and fearful places. The Dethly Halloween Experience

The 3rd Annual Interactive Trick-or-Treat Halloween Neighborhood and Carnival is open! Wear your costumes and visit each of the 25 uniquely decorated houses. Explore the fantastic haunted maze, abandoned park, creepy cemetery, spooky carnival, and Halloween-themed mini-golf course created by Solstice and Tales of Enchantment. Teleport in to learn more about the interactive trick-or-treat and hunt.

The Ritual at Frogmore

Explore the hidden treasures at the Ritual at Frogmore. Deep in the woods, there is a place of old dark magic and wilted lace. Dry bones rise up to cast a glow, of Witches' spells, beetroots, and toes. Your heart slows down within your chest and beastie souls lie down to rest. As spirits sway and creatures croon, bid goodnight, fly the Witches' Moon.

Field of Screams

Walk around the endless pathways from dead ends to roundabouts. This field takes all who enter captive. Spanning an entire region, this cornfield will take you to new levels of fear, and being lost by yourself!

The lost artist's absence creates a Neverending Nightmare. Discover the horrors in every corner, will you run or hide? Haunted Hollow 2021

Once Upon a Time, there was an Enchanted Hollow where tales gathered: tales of struggle and virtue, of light and looming darkness. They settled in as cooling breezes whirled the falling leaves, nestling between the autumnal heights and that place where the brook waters blend with the salty sea. Some thrive, some expire, and some twist themselves just a little. Haunted Hollow features stories, music, live trick or treat, hunts, pony rides, and a region of fun to explore.

Fifty Linden Friday's designers have cooked up something spooky! Join them for their first annual FLF-o-Ween, with hundreds of items from your favorite designers priced at only L$50, and a free gift from every store! The event runs from October 15th to November 1st.

The Darkness of Day

Charge Syndrome presents the Darkness of Day, an autumn and Halloween build. A serene and eerie space designed to feast upon your senses. One side designed with a light and fun autumn vibe, Cross the gorge through the mountains and find the dark side of Halloween. Another fantastic build by the queen of humorous fantasy Second Life artist Suzen Juel (Juel Resistance). Also featuring the best roller coaster, secluded in a dome in the sky. This intriguing space has been designed to encourage you to explore, look in every corner, and specially created for taking photographs. 6th Annual Scare Me Silly Event

The 6th Annual Scare Me Silly event takes place October 15th to 22nd, 2021, and features live music, art, a hunt, giveaways, and lots of tricks & treats in support of the Team Diabetes of Second Life, an official and authorized team of the American Diabetes Association. Manifestations NL

Manifestations NL is one of the virtual locations of the Dutch Design Week, the largest RL event of its kind in Northern Europe. Several 3D artists are involved and can be found through the special Manifestations land in SL. On this island, you will find portals to the various artworks, experimental live performances, dance parties, and more. The event will run from October 15th to 24th. Come see the creativity of 450+ Linden Bears & Mole Bears, collected by multiple Residents over the years. Also, pick up a free box of Bears for your own collection!

The tradition of a toy bear that may be given out by Linden Lab employees, and our Mole contractors, to Second Life Residents began in early 2005. The idea was simple: Anyone can ask a Linden or Mole for their bear. Each bear is personally crafted by an individual Linden or Mole, adding their own unique twist, and in some cases can be one of their first experiences in building. A special thank you to Claire Atheria & Maryposa Papillon (Maryposa Paine) for putting the Bear Castle together with 450+ Linden and Mole Bears!
