BVN's Blogger Management Panel

The Blogger & Vlogger Network will be holding a Live Presentation Blogger Management Panel with Melly Lecker, SadyCat Littlepaws, Duchess Flux, and Dalriada Delwood. As experienced blogger managers, event coordinators, and creators they will be sharing their views and insights on successful bloggers and how to manage them. The presentation is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 14th at 12pm (noon) SLT and end at approximately 1pm SLT. A brief 30-minute question and answer period will immediately follow. The Peale Founder's Day Celebration

Visit The Peale Museum island on Sunday, August 15th at 3pm SLT/Pacific for a screening of the Founder's Day event to celebrate the 1 year birthday of the Peale in Second Life, and the 207th birthday of the physical Peale, located in Baltimore, Maryland. This live broadcast will be "projected" into the courtyard of the Virtual Peale, providing a portal into the physical Peale. Meet RL artists, staff, and partners from the Peale, and see the progress of the ongoing restoration of the oldest museum building in America, established in 1814 by artist Rembrandt Peale. The hour-long event will also feature a musical performance by Scott Patterson for the Proximity Project, a history and demonstration of silhouette cutting with Lauren Muney, and a look back at Out Of The Blocks with Aaron Henkin.

Fifty Linden Fridays 12th Birthday Bash

The Fifty Linden Fridays Backyard Birthday Bash starts on August 13th and runs until September 3rd, featuring all of your favorite FLF creators, and some very special guests! Each store will have a brand new item available, as well as some 'fan fave' previous FLF items to give you a chance if you missed them before. Plus, each store will have a gift, a way of saying thank you for supporting FLF for over 12 years! See you on August 13th!

ContraptioN's 10th Anniversary

Founded by Walton Wainwright, ContraptioN is a passion project, a hobby, and a creative outlet for the artists behind it. Their designs are often themed with a Steampunk, Victorian, or Scifi flair. From August 12th to the 18th, ContraptioN will be releasing a daily rotational gift, to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. Join their inworld group and keep track of the daily events!

Abnormality is a quarterly shopping event offering a major shopping event platform for veteran creators and new ones alike in all of the wonderful and unique communities SL has to offer. Transylvania Turns 17

The Transylvania Family, Second Life’s oldest gothic vampire, and lycan community welcomes you all to celebrate its 17th birthday with a week-long celebration starting on Monday, August 9, through Sunday, August 15.

Tenochtitlan

Tenochtitlan, 500 years after its fall before the Spanish conquest. (August 13, 1521). An exhibition in Second Life, open from August 13th to September 20th is a tribute to the Mexica (Aztec) people because even in the face of the subjugation and destruction of the great city, their culture and legacy lives on among Mexicans.

Virtual Hotel Chelsea Woodstock Celebration

The Virtual Hotel Chelsea celebrates Woodstock with the Strawberry Fields Dreamer’s Stage. The grand opening is on August 17th from 1 PM SLT to 10 PM SLT. Some of Second Life’s best live musical performers will present their dedications to the monstrous concert of ‘69.
