'Tis The Season

'Tis The Season for all things festive this winter. Old fashioned snowy sleigh rides, hot cocoa at the outdoor Christmas market, ice-skating on the frozen lake, visit Mrs Claus' Christmas tree lot, or just get lost pressing through the snow. If you're in need of rest after exploring, then make your way to the Christmas campfire. Here you can sit back beneath the stars, warm your hands on a mug of hot chocolate, and enjoy a Christmas tale or two. Grab a map at the landing point to help find your way, stay just as long as you like, and make yourself at home.

Winter Wonderland

Discover an exciting snowy adventure in this winter attraction by Linden Lab. Enjoy some holiday gifts in the Village of Lights, or a nice skate around the rink with friends. Take a look over the regions on the top of the Winter Ferris Wheel or race around the track. Don't miss the snowball fight arena!

Cheri Noel

Cheri Noel is a family-friendly European Christmas Destination with strong French and German influences. The inspiration behind this idyllic holiday location is the real-world city of Strasbourg, France; which is also known as the Capital Of Christmas. It is a photogenic, immersive, and festive place with a Christmas market, ice skating rink, and more. It is open from December 1st to January 4th and will have live singers lined up every week. Whimsical Winter Wonderland at Charge Syndrome

The Charge Syndrome region has been transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland. A place filled with activities to entertain you and magical spots for exploration and photography. It's sure to keep you busy throughout the festive season. Explore the region in a hot air balloon, ride the zip line, skate along the lake and waterways with your friends, or find a quiet spot to visit and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa. Explore all the nooks and crannies and see if you can find all the vignettes they've hidden away for you to find.

Path to Oneself Reflection

The SL Random Art Crew have built this region to be a respectful and immersive experience, as well as a reflection of the year 2020. Residents of Second life can explore a series of unique environments and draw on their own thoughts and experiences of the year. This event is open for the duration of December and will finish on December 31st.

Bay City's Annual Tree Lighting

Come to the Bay City Fairgrounds in North Channel on Sunday, December 6th from 1pm to 4pm PT/SLT for a tree lighting, skating party, silent auction, and music event featuring GoSpeed of KONA Stream, Maximillion Kleene, and Wolfie Starfire.

The Dickens Project

Now in its 8th year, Seanchai Library presents The Dickens Project, to celebrate the work of one of the masters of 19th Century literature, whose humanistic voice continues to be a relevant one in our everyday culture. For a whole month, two scenic regions will be themed around Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with over 60 hours of live music, spoken word, dance events, and performances; along with dozens of presenters, and special guests, including Patch Linden! 10th Annual SL Christmas Expo

Visit the 10th Annual SL Christmas Expo, held December 4-13 in support of the American Cancer Society's fight against childhood cancer. This twelve region shopping extravaganza features more than 225 merchants, and many holiday activities including the annual Snowman Contest, Christmas Tree lots, Gachas, Raffles, Auctions, and nearly 80 hours of live entertainment! Linden Lab will reveal the next edition of the coveted Linden Home series at the Expo and will be providing several special One Of A Kind Auction items and special surprises.
