With all those beautiful destinations to check out, we thought we’d highlight a few of the entries that stood out to the editorial team. The Virtual Black History Museum invites everyone to explore the timeline of African-American history from the heartaches to the victories in a park-like and welcoming environment. The current special exhibit, running until the end of March, features amazing women that helped shape African-American history in the US!

Glenshalane Woods

Glenshalane Woods is inspired by the landscape of Ireland, with its lush forests and rugged coastline. Put on your hiking boots, grab your camera, and take a tour through the forest. Don’t forget to visit the quaint coffee shop nestled along the coastline.

A tranquil place to hang out with friends, listen to ambient music, or to walk about and explore. If you're a photographer, come by and take some amazing photos. This is not a rental region, so come explore the ruins, town, wooded trails, lakes, and waterfalls.

Anya's place is a seasonal retreat. A place to enjoy solitude or share quiet time with a friend, you'll love the beautiful ambiance in a realistic environment. Perfect for photographers, writers, or just for an escape. A warm welcome to everyone, but please respect other's privacy.

There are also some exciting new art installations and exhibits that have hit the grid recently, here are just a few:

This is Bryn Oh's new installation which is a HUD narrative told as people climb the floors of an apartment building. You will need to accept the experience and have sound on.

Kultivate Magazine will be having a grand opening party on February 23rd from 1pm to 3pm SLT for their new Art Exhibit by Ilyra Chardin. The party will be held at their Windlight Art Gallery.

The GBTH project has been revamped and has some new installations to explore, by some new Second Life artists!

Situated in an urban environment, the GBTH project brings a unique approach to art in Second Life. The city becomes the base to showcase sculptures, illustrations, and interventions made by the Residents on the grid. Four pavilions are dedicated to individual proposals, giving the artist full creative control over their piece.
