"This is a grand finale, a sad farewell to show our gratitude to UWA and all that they did for us as artists, curators, and residents of SL. Their work brought life and beauty to all of us and made the art world in Second Life a thing to behold." Read more on the blog.
"The Engine Room is open now for about a week and it has so many AMAZING designs and creations that I wasn’t able to put them in one picture, so be prepared for so more steampunk madness in the next days!" <Click here to read more on the Fashion Addicted blog>
Last week in my column, I featured this photo above by Jarla Capalini. The naturalistic smile captivated me. I know mesh heads are doing wonders with improving expression in Second Life and made the mistake of assuming that was how this smile was created. Read more on New World Notes.
"One of my favorite things about Second Life pregnancies, possibly the only thing I like about it, is planning the virtual baby shower! We celebrated the upcoming birth of our virtual twins with a custom build. Here are some tips to help you plan your baby shower and a few of my favorite shops for decor." Read more on the blog.
"I would like to invite you to a fiendish event where you will be able to find macabre items, and search for the lost keys in a hunt for only the truly insane! "
"The new stilt homes started arriving at the end of the week. Forum chatter abounded of course; one of the longest active threads is called "SSP" which in the end we found was (in theory anyway) standing in for "Super Secret Project", the Bellisseria Linden Homes." Read more on the blog.
"Time to gather up the last of the herbs and prepare the animals for the winter at the holiday ranch."
"Today I was lucky enough to be online when in the Bellisserian Inworld Group (Bellisseria Citizens), people start talking about the final open of the new Linden Homes theme demo area.
I could teleport there and see with my eyes this new European style. I knew that some of the creators of this theme are German." Read more on the blog.
"Just as I thought I’d soon run out of hotels and resorts to review, news has come out about three projects on the horizon, all of which I am looking forward to seeing, given who is behind each one." Read more on the blog.
"In light of COVID-19 and in light that many of us are staying at home to stay safe, MadPea Productions want to give us something fun to do to escape RL for a bit and have made SPELLBOUND FREE TO PLAY for MadPeas group members (group free to join)" Read more on the blog.
"2019 marks the 10th Edition of 2Lei’s annual campaign to raise awareness of the plight of women the world over who face violence – physical, sexual and psychological – on a daily basis. The event, mixing art, music and talks, runs through November and December each year. I’ve already provided an introduction to this year’s Edition (see: No Violence! the 2Lei 10th edition in Second Life), and wanted to take a little time to focus down on the largest collection of art within the event, which can be found at the Black Label Exhibition Corner and urban city."
"Treatment with special types of therapy and sometimes medication can make a big difference, but it is not a cure. But even though patients with PTSD are not cured, they can improve significantly or even see all of their symptoms resolve." Read more on the blog.
"Lambie is a new Homestead region design by marinestella that offers something of an escape from the deep snows of winter, with a minimalism that – at the time of our visit – was still so new it was still being worked on, so details may have changed a little between what you see on a visit and what is noted here."
"NEW FIRESTORM 6.4.13(63251), let's check the new features added some good for photography (Depth on Field) and EASY installation of Windlights! " Click to watch video on YouTube.
