"Now I have seen some beautiful houses and villas in Second Life, but never such an awe-inspiring and prestigious palace complex as Crito Galtier's residence. I have been to Versailles some years ago, which is actually more of a city than a palace. You have to imagine something like that. While Crito was waiting for me on the steps of the palace, the clock in the tower struck eight." Read more on the blog.

This is the first of three reconnaissance sessions with Linden Lab at VWBPE 2021." Read more on the blog.

"Oh, those humble creatures that populate Second Life. Pantera Północy was not the first to assure me that her interests would be rather boring for an interview, "so only use me as a backdrop," she wrote. Of course I didn't buy that. When I contacted her for the interview she was drinking tea, both in her tower house in SL as behind screen. Well, it was time to have a cup of tea with her, then we could talk about her house and her passion!" Read more on the blog.

"The appointment with the honorable Asbjörn Gothly-Raven was made on Facebook. There I met him and his partner Guen Gothly. Guen said to Asbjörn: 'should we share our "home" and our "baby?" I think we should!' And Asbjörn answered: 'We should, Zorphan doesn't get enough snacks...I mean visitors.'
Well, this promised to be an interesting visit, to say the least!" Read more on the blog.

"In the years I've been in Second Life, I have never had the honor to meet a professional wedding photographer and -filmmaker. Now was the moment because I was going to interview Jackson Redstar. He is one of a few here on this second world who actually makes wedding video's for a business. And he has seen and recorded hundreds of weddings. Is this actually his passion?" "When I arrived at the home of Simo Vodopan I first waited a while before he became clair and I saw how he looked like.
'Pleased to meet you,' I said when he was visible.
'Yo, welcome to the place,' he said cordially.
He looked like a vagabond fox with fierce long manes and dark sunglasses. In his snout dangled a cigarette."

"When you meet someone in an office for an interview you imagine all sorts of things. When I arrived in the realm of famous Second Life writer Huckleberry Hax, the fantasy matched reality completely. Only the reality in SL added something to it. It was as if I had landed in a 70s movie like All the presidents men. Picture this: veneer wood furniture and walls, a globe, books and liquor displayed in a shelving unit, an old TV, iron beige-brown filing cabinets and Huckleberry Hax himself sitting behind his desk, looking like a boss with his sleeves rolled up. This was vintage in the superlative sense." Click over to read the interview on the blog.

"At night I came over to Owl Dragonash' place. A good time for nightowls to chat. We sat on the terras at the deck near her villa facing the water. Now owl is a special being and a sight to behold! Se had firy red rasta hair, wore antlers on her head and colourfull little wings on her back. She said she is an owl, faun, elf and a woman since 2007. I knew she was a busy bee to say the least: always organising cultural events. Let's hear what she has to say about her home and her dearest passion..." Click over to read the interview on the blog.

Angelus van Engelen : Richard

Interviews

"Richard is a fair, well build, curly red haired - but unusials for reds - sun tanned guy. He doesn't own a house in Second Life. He prefers to go were he wants. Home is a broad concept and he certainly has a home. It is at Calia Galadhon park complex. When I got transported to his favorite spot I saw how peaceful it was there. We stood at the edge of the park looking out over the sea." Click over to the blog to read the full interview.
