"I sometimes forget that Second Life is a scientific laboratory for the computer scientist. The 3D world that I take for granted is the product of many, many talented programmers and mathematicians. I could program in C and FORTRAN but object oriented, windows-based programming always eluded me, so I am most impressed with the virtual world of Second Life."

"So if you're looking for new release reviews or whatever then move along, lol. I just really want to talk about how much I love Bakes on Mesh. I know everyone else is but...I want to so whatever. XD  I have been posting things on Flickr about it, such as HERE and HERE, and probably will continue to. I just love it so much.  I practically cried when I was able to wear my freckles again. "This year, BVN put a call out to all her member bloggers and vloggers to take part in a Collaboration Challenge.  Being someone who struggles to get off her platform and meet new people, I signed up for it.  I had no clue who I would be paired up with and honestly, as nerve wracking as that can be for me, it was also a big part of the excitement in taking part in this challenge."

Pretty Things, Nice Life - 19.png

"What kind of photos would we have if we didn’t have poses? No matter how beautiful your avatar is, no matter what kind of amazing background set you have, if you left your avatar standing there poseless and wobbly, your photo would look ridiculous! Poses are what make photos of avatars COME ALIVE! So let’s take a look at what kind of Second Life we’d really have if we didn’t have poses." Read more on the blog.

Announcing Stömol

teaser-poster-1_002aa-r.jpg

"Things have been a bit quiet on this blog (and on my Flickr stream) recently. You noticed, right? Of course you did. Well, for the last eight months I’ve been working on a pretty large machinima project, a full-blown science fiction movie called Stömol – all filmed in Second Life. It’ll be about an hour long and will feature an original soundtrack by a very talented friend of mine. Without wanting to employ hyperbole, I don’t think anything quite like this has been done before, and I’m looking forward to its release very much." <Click here to read more on the What the Huck blog>
