"Every week I search for Hotels within the Firestorm viewer, which in the recent past has led me to hidden treasures like The Continental.  This week doing so had me stumble upon the Bravin Hotel. 

This modern themed venue, replete with amenities such as a dining room, spa, pool, small beach, and mini-golf course, sparked my interest after navigating in search through a sea of adult clubs masquerading as Hotels.

While there were aspects of the Bravin that appealed to me, such as its well-appointed rooms and spa, this appeal was somewhat dimmed by its high price tag in comparison to similar options.  I also wondered if much of the space could have been better utilised."

"The Sea Horizon is a small hotel with twelve rooms and a pool.  I came across it while doing one of my regular hotel searches in the SL directory, and decided to take a look, renting a room. Though I wouldn’t class it as a vacation place, as it is simple with limited facilities, the rooms themselves are quite nicely done and there is a fairly large pool.  As a result, this could be an option if you want to base yourself somewhere temporarily." Utilising the opportunities presented by virtual tools, they aim to provide a better understanding of our marine environments and the need to protect the vitual role they play as part of the world’s ecosystem, working in partnership with the SEE Turtles Organisation.

Within Second Life OCWA – founded by JT Castanea and SL partner Megs (megscandles) – hosts the Experience The Ocean, which occupies and Full private region adjoining a Homestead region and an Openspace region, each of which play a role in OCWA’s facilities."
