"Although it’s the smallest group and has way less participants this is still my favourite one to do. I guess partly, because I consider myself a home and garden blogger predominately too but I am always in awe and inspired by the talented group of photographers, decorators, landscapers and bloggers who add their photos to the group month-in, month-out. So here it is, the 2020 Home & Garden Calendar, one photo from each of the previous 12 months." "I was immediately drawn to “Saying Goodbye” from Trisha Rose. It is beautifully composed directing my attention to the figures in the tree even though it does not follow the Rule of Thirds or Fifths or the Golden Mean. What’s going on? I had to download it, run it through GIMP's cropping guideline feature, and fiddle around seeing what gave it such appeal. Referencing this handy tutorial I recommend to image makers, I checked how its diagonals line up:" Read more on the blog.

"Todays video is about how to file an abuse report in Second Life. Many people actually don't know how simple this is to do when you are being trolled etc on land in second life etc. So this is a simple set of steps. Do not abuse the reporting button. Only use it for those moments you are really having difficulty." Click over to watch the video on YouTube.

"We are half way in January right and what a ride? Are there any updates with me? Still so so! I have my good days and bad days. Still blogging is not quite there. All week long I have been complaining about having gone color blind and having a clothing crisis. I lost my mojo. Sigh! So yall know me! One of my favorite things to blog is Cyber Punk and Futuristic fashion and Mainframe is upon us within a few days and here I thought I would be like this is great! Which it is, but the Cyber Punk Pryncess has lost her mojo" Read more on the blog.

"When I arrived at the home of Simo Vodopan I first waited a while before he became clair and I saw how he looked like.
'Pleased to meet you,' I said when he was visible.
'Yo, welcome to the place,' he said cordially.
He looked like a vagabond fox with fierce long manes and dark sunglasses. In his snout dangled a cigarette."

"Week ten we journey back towards violet on the color wheel -- with MAUVE. Now I can't say that mauve in any rendition of its color palette is one of my favorites.  I am pretty sure I haven't worn the color in either virtual or corporeal life, but "it's the process that counts" as we say in the art world -- sometimes as we are simultaneously pulling hair out by the roots." "Its BE, back with a new talk series for you all!! In this episode of BE Talk we are discussing my journey with gender identity and why I chose to identify they way I do (non-binary). I hope this video sheds some light on some things you might have been wondering about me or some questions you have about gender identity! Let me know down below if you want to see more BE Talks in the future and some topics you think I should discuss!" Click over to YouTube to watch the video.

"I found Sindaria via a Scoop.it article that led me through to a Blog post about the Cyberpunk area of Sindaria. At the time of writing my previous post on Sindaria, I hadn’t fully read the said blog post, for which I owe the author an apology for seeming rather dismissive of it,when that wasn’t my intention. Anyway onto my visit to this city. Obviously this time I took the other teleport doorway, the one lit with neon." Read more on the blog.

"The Outfits function has been in the viewer for a long while now. Before that we made "outfits" manually -- and in some cases there are still good reasons to do that (more later). They are fun to put together and very useful. But there are still people -- especially newer folks -- that are pretty confused. So I thought  it would be good as I went through my outfits for the new year AND made new ones from some of my favorite 52 Weeks stylings to make a tutorial." Read more on the blog.

"Recently I had a talk with someone who messaged me asking for the link for this blog again, as she had lost all her bookmarks with a new computer and missed reading us with her morning coffee. I was a bit taken aback at first and told her how much it meant to me to know that someone actually read, what was written here. As a blogger I often wonder how many actually read what we write, and not just admire a pretty picture." Read more on the blog.

"When you meet someone in an office for an interview you imagine all sorts of things. When I arrived in the realm of famous Second Life writer Huckleberry Hax, the fantasy matched reality completely. Only the reality in SL added something to it. It was as if I had landed in a 70s movie like All the presidents men. Picture this: veneer wood furniture and walls, a globe, books and liquor displayed in a shelving unit, an old TV, iron beige-brown filing cabinets and Huckleberry Hax himself sitting behind his desk, looking like a boss with his sleeves rolled up. This was vintage in the superlative sense." Click over to read the interview on the blog.
