"Come see the new attraction at FunZone (part of Timeless Seasons) in Second Life.
These beautiful miniature creations have been lovingly built by CassieEldemar Writer and her RL Hubby. Together their collection of creations at their inworld shop and market place will wow you with the amount of details in each build. Touching roofs, walls, windows, doors, bell towers will open up sections for you to take a much much closer look inside !!!! Be prepared to be AMAZED." Watch the video on YouTube
"Kawayan at Tubig is a small Filipino-beach-themed Airbnb created by Flicker Bayan, who invited me to come and look.
Costing 500L per day, it’s a beautifully laid out spot that I recommend for either a couple’s getaway or for a private party involving a group of friends."
"I am thrilled to share with you the reopening of “Wandering New York“! This Second Life region has been inspired by the magnificent city of New York, with Manhattan as its focal point." Read more on the blog
"Victorian women and girls, working hard on the factory floor, a lone overseer perched like a vulture above. A story far deeper than pixels and avatars. This isn't just a Second Life scene; it is a portal to a bygone era of grit and smoke, of women's sweat and phosphorous whispers." Read more on Flickr
"Every week I search for Hotels within the Firestorm viewer, which in the recent past has led me to hidden treasures like The Continental. This week doing so had me stumble upon the Bravin Hotel.
This modern themed venue, replete with amenities such as a dining room, spa, pool, small beach, and mini-golf course, sparked my interest after navigating in search through a sea of adult clubs masquerading as Hotels.
While there were aspects of the Bravin that appealed to me, such as its well-appointed rooms and spa, this appeal was somewhat dimmed by its high price tag in comparison to similar options. I also wondered if much of the space could have been better utilised."

"One of 2023's most beloved natural regions, Elvion, has made a triumphant return under the skilled hands of Bo Zano (BoZanoNL) and Una Zano (UnaMayLi). This time, however, the landscape has shed its post-apocalyptic cloak, embracing the vibrant beauty of the "here and now."" Info on Flickr

"When it comes to the history of Second Life, there are many who may claim to hold some of the facts and figures and legends and tales. However, were the truth to be told, there is really only one person who has spent years carefully building what is perhaps the most complete history of Second Life’s long and growing history, and then synthesising it down in a manner that can be easily digested and appreciated: Sniper Siemens." "Welcome to exploring Isbjørn Forskningsstasjon in Second Life.
A very atmospheric desitnaiton with a story to it."
"Back in April 2022, I came across The Forgotten, an engaging, highly-photogenic Full region designed by Elfie (then Elfing Shenanigans, now WeeWangle Wumpkins – such is the magic of Second Life Name Changes!). I thoroughly enjoyed my explorations at the time, as I noted in Finding The Forgotten in Second Life, and in sitting and contemplating the newly-installed bookcases in my cosily-refurbished home office, a stray thought wandered into my head about the region, leading me to consider hopping over and seeing what has changed – and so I did." "Recreating a RL destination in Second Life is quite hard, given the limitations of what you can realistically do within one or two regions. As a result, many creators fall into a common mistake of overwhelming spaces with too much detail. However, SL Restaurant and destination brand Fete has in the past done a good job in capturing the essence of real-world locations without succumbing to the temptation of overcrowding. That’s the case with their latest project, The Grand Hotel Pupp, situated in the picturesque Karlovy Vary of the Czech Republic." Read more on the blog
"I imagine Empire Omerta owner Lux Voxel to be someone who, in First Life, spends his weekends trawling through Europe’s antique markets. That’s because, bursting with an eclectic array of artworks and decor, the Empire Omerta Hotel immerses guests in a world where every nook and cranny tells a story, creating an ambiance that is pretty unique." "''Aftermath' the post-apocalyptic city created by Hera. The shared light is tobacco brown colour which suits a dying world, but for the picture I thought I would have bright sunlight penetrating down into the depths of the dark ruined city" Destination info on Flickr

"Nestled within the expansive landscape of SL Norway, New Deer Isle Motel is another creative project from Kaiden and Pandora Tray, better known for the NYC-themed Wandering New York.
Unlike much of the clutter you see on the mainland, New Deer Isle offers a meticulously planned and themed coastal town experience, reminiscent of a small New England retreat."
"There are so many winter destinations, you can scout about for hours and miss out on the good bits! I have done the hard work for you and selected four of the most interesting places. I've put the landmarks into a hud together with an information notecard which you can collect from my inworld store FREE" Watch the video on YouTube
"Greetings family! 🤩 In this stream we are exploring The Dickens Project - 2023 Edition
in Second Life.
The Dickens Project is an SL winter holiday tradition that invites guests to walk in the steps of Ebenezer Scrooge in an environment inspired in part by Charles Dickens’ 1843 novella. Open December 7 – January 7."
