"Brad Oberwager appeared on the special SL18B episode of Lab Gab along with the Leadership Team on Monday 21st June 2021. This was the first time that Brad Oberwager (Oberwolf Linden) talked directly the the Second Life community. I thought it was a great show generally speaking and it was nice to hear about Brad’s plans for the future of Second Life. It was good to hear that Brad has gone in-world with his Oberwolf Linden account at least a few times and he does have alt accounts." Read more on the blog.

"I was banging on David’s bedroom door, shouting at him to get out of bed because he was going to miss the best part of the day. “The early bird catches the worm,” I told him. “I’m not a bird,” he muttered. “Go on, we’ll go shopping,” I offered. “Ha, the never have anything in my sizes anyway,” he responded. He is right of course, very few clothing creators have ever bothered with the NX-Nardcotix David mesh body, but there just happens to be a 50% sale on at Tori Torricelli this weekend, so at the very least it was worth checking out." "Hellooo, guys. I find it super hard to finish decorating any house in SL, but since I came back, I decided I was going to finally finish one and to celebrate the fact I actually did finish it, I decided to shoot a videooooooooo. I can't even believe I have finally finished a project. I always start and never finish anything...I also now have a little youtube channel" Style and decor details on Flickr.

"Nefeli – this is the name of the island of which I’m about to tell you. Named thus after Nephele, the cloud nymph of Greek mythology. Created by Zeus from a cloud (νέφος – nephos – in Greek) in the image of Hera; mother of the Centaurs, and also of Phrixus and Helle, who both featured prominently in the myth of the Golden Fleece." "Setting up a resort in the middle of a group of other sims can be challenging.  Why should people stay with you when they can travel to these other places anyway and tp home within seconds? One of SL's newest resorts, the Bonaire YanuYanu,  passes that question with flying colours in that it really works with and integrates its surroundings." Second Sighting - 8.jpg

"...the world was a very different place when SL appeared. There was no Facebook, no iPhone nor Minecraft. In 2003, when Second Life was released, the general public met Safari web browser and Skype for the first time. It was also when Eve Online MMORPG was launched. Back then, SL was actually one of the most immersive experiences one could have in a computer generated 3D environment that was not exactly a game, in a traditional sense (even if in the early days of its conception, before its public release, what would come to be known as Second Life was more game-like than it is today)." Second Life Endowment for the Arts - 21.png

"18 Years of Second Life is indeed the perfect Time to Celebrate! Second Life Endowment for The Arts is excited to make it’s maiden voyage to the “Incredible” region. Incredible is an understatement to describe over 20 regions aesthetically designed and landscaped by the infamous SL moles. Amidst a perfectly balanced overtone of fantasy landscaping the regions come alive with diversity guaranteed to satisfy the design flavor palette of all who visit. It does not take long to realize you are among friends and in a truly happy place." Read more on the blog.
