"Designed by Japanese pianist Arabesque Choche and vocalist Juliet Heberle, who together form the successful musical duet of Chouchou and managed by 10223 Resident (aka Tofu), the regions are among some of the longest running, practically unchanged private island environments, to be found in Second Life, and are an absolute delight for all who encounter them." <Click here to read more on the Inara Pey: Living in a Modem World Blog>

"Plato once said “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” We live our lives to music. I myself have a list of songs that I refer to as the soundtrack of my life. The list is made up of songs from a wide range of genres and they are songs that I associate with a specific moment in time, either because the lyrics fit the mood or because that is the song that was playing at the time. Many couples have a ‘song’, something that was played at their wedding or some other event of special significance or just signifies their relationship in some way, for my husband and I it’s ‘Long Way Home’ by Tom Waits. For many music is a way to tell their story." <Click here to read more on Alyss Whitewood's blog>

"I have always loved Canadian Geese.  Then I was young, and before we moved to a more rural area, there was a park like, partially wooded and grassy area near the courthouse where we could always see them.  It was exciting because that was pretty much the only wildlife we saw in the city.  Then when I was in 6th grade we moved to the “country” and there was wildlife everywhere." <Click here to read more on the Pretty Things, Nice Life! blog>

"

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss’d cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o’er-brimm’d their clammy cells."

"Things have been a bit quiet on this blog (and on my Flickr stream) recently. You noticed, right? Of course you did. Well, for the last eight months I’ve been working on a pretty large machinima project, a full-blown science fiction movie called Stömol – all filmed in Second Life. It’ll be about an hour long and will feature an original soundtrack by a very talented friend of mine. Without wanting to employ hyperbole, I don’t think anything quite like this has been done before, and I’m looking forward to its release very much." <Click here to read more on the What the Huck blog>

"Hello and thank you for watching. You know already how I love to shop and in this little series, I show you some of what I do with items after I get them in my eager little hands...this one covers how to texture an item the simple way, and a few other things in relation to that. Hope this helps, and if there is something you are curious about, let me know in the comments, and if I know how, or can find out, I'll share in an upcoming vid. Please note that I am using Firestorm so if you do not, this MAY only help so much.." <Click here to watch the video in full on Selena Troye's YouTube Channel>

"Yesterday, September 29, 2019, the official news came from the owners of Chouchou regarding joining to the Second Region Preservation Society. We are talking about the program that allows the rescue of regions that, without the support of LL, would close.

The owners of Chouchou have therefore made official the decision to preserve their sim and to resurrect the sim Chouchou XVI – The Babel that went off-line in 2013." <Click here to read more on the Virtuality blog>

"Somewhat unusually for this blog, I’m covering three exhibitions of art split across two galleries – Club L.A. and Kiku Gallery  – that between them presents three very individual displays of art by Second Life artists, and which are each small enough to make a joint interesting and contrasting visit for those who enjoy art in Second Life." <Click here to read more at the Living in a Modem World blog>

"So if you're looking for new release reviews or whatever then move along, lol. I just really want to talk about how much I love Bakes on Mesh. I know everyone else is but...I want to so whatever. XD  I have been posting things on Flickr about it, such as HERE and HERE, and probably will continue to. I just love it so much.  I practically cried when I was able to wear my freckles again. Here is just a fun look I put together:" <Click here to read more on the Broke by Payday blog>

"Now summer is really over, my favourite season has arrived: Autumn! Being a September child, Autumn always brings back happy memories of  birthday parties, a new winter coat, hiking boots and comfort food such as pea-soup and stews!
And yeah, also the less joyful things as rain, wet socks, muddy floors and struggling to get to the weekly market on my bicycle." <Read more at Caitlin Tobia's blog>
