"Growing up I had zero interest in the domestic arts, my mother on the other hand was a veritable domestic goddess who crocheted, sewed, kept a spotless house and was an expert at folding fitted sheets. During the holidays she would go on a baking marathon and make dozens of homemade cookies to give out to family and friends as gifts, she would bake them and store them in the freezer until it was time to give them out, my sister and I would sneak cookies out of the freezer when she wasn’t looking and eat them with some hot chocolate."

"Unconditional, designed by Tomisnotaboy and Moonsoul, is a Homestead region that has been garnering attention since it opened to the public in the past week – and rightly so. It is a visually stunning region, one that appears to have been brought together in a remarkably short period of time: the About Land floater suggests it arrived on the Grid on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, yet it was open to all before the weekend had started!"
"Recently opened (October 3rd, 2019), at Diotima Art Gallery curated by Red Bikcin is Wandering Spirits, an immersive exhibition of 2D art with 3D elements by TerraMerhyem. It offers a fascinating trip into the artist’s imagination."
"I wanted to do another creepy pic with some Arcade and FaMESHed things, as well as this ultra-creepy and SO WELL DONE applier from Glam Affair:"
"You know, my dear, it isn’t safe for a little girl to walk through these woods alone."
"Should you put up your art up for sale?
I used to have an almost reflexive dislike for putting a price on my work. How do you put a price on something that comes from within you? It feels crass reducing your work to a few lindens, doesn’t it?"
"So, Mr. Hamilton, just watch your back
Hide all those digital clocks on your rack
They'll soon end up smashed to bits in a bog
Because you, you, you, you, YOU
Caused the DEATH OF THE COG!
~ The Cog Is Dead" <Click here to read more on the Sugarcoated Pixels blog>
"Again I had a Japanese desire and with the awesome “Masami” gown from Fellini and the super amazing Katana headpiece called “Shakatu”, it was time to full fill that desire 😉 Both of those amazing creations you can find at the NEO Japan event this month." <Click here for style credits and more on the Fashion Addicted blog>
"It’s finally starting to feel like fall here in my real life, which is a relief from the 95F weather we have been having.
I have been in a fall mood in Second Life for weeks now, so I continued and set up my own little fall gazebo"
"Halloween is approaching once again, and so too is the annual Second Life Creepy Craw, a time when those from the Lab, together with residents, go hopping around the grid in an avatar answer to trick-or-treating." <Click here to read more on the Living in a Modem World blog>
