"Good morning, Adventurites…I’ve been sitting on this for a few days now. Yesterday I just didn’t really want to write. This Spring is bittersweet. Usually when we say “Hello, Spring” it is with great cheer and relief that the winter is over." Read more on the blog.
"I am playing with lights again! This is not quite what I was going for, but I’ll try again another day. I have sorted out my requirements for the month already, so I decided to blog the outfit I have been wearing for the past few weeks to immortalize it." Read more on the blog.
"Via Nodoka Hanamura, this week's virtual world location gracing New World Notes' banner is Hiraya Village in Second Life, a community based around a highly-detailed recreation of modern urban cityscapes of Japan." Read more on the blog.
"Heloq Tomsen is someone who stands out. He is well known as a night owl and DJ at Berlin raw, he is witty, sexy and saucy. But is he the kind of guy who talks easily about his dearest passion? I will find out in this interview when I meet him at his home that he would call his ‘little edge of paradise.'" Read more on the blog.
"I am sort of in love with everything about this photo. It has been stirring in the back of my mind ever since I tried on the dress. To me it screamed vintage Hollywood which is a style I love. The dress and heels are from Nardcotix and they are available at Cupid Inc. which will be wrapping up in a few days so don’t miss it." Read more on the blog.
"Not everyone was here in the years of Second Life's infancy. Before sculpts, before mesh, before Windlight. In many ways -- for those of us that were here -- it was the best of times. Yes, we frequently ended up with shoes and hair in our crotches when teleporting and yes the grid did shut down purposefully for updates each week, but it was arguably the most creative times in SL history." "On Tuesday evening the Linden's held a farewell party for Oz, who after almost 11 years at the Lab, has decided that now uplift is complete, his mission is accomplished. Quite rightly Oz wants to retire and on a high note and leaves Second Life in a scalable position with a bright future." Read more on the blog.
"I am writing this while bacon is crisping in the oven and scrambled eggs are waiting to be cooked in the pan to go with it and just writing that has made my mouth water! " Read more on the blog.
"Winter Slavic Rebirth, a winter wonderland steeped in Russian myths and legends, officially opened on SLEA’s Region 1 January 1st 2021. Due to close February 28th, this review is a celebration of the incredible achievement of the Winter Slavic Rebirth team and a last chance call to appreciate the beauty of this creation before the region is handed over to the next grant artist, Suzen Juel." "For the current round of Redeux (which ends tomorrow), Del-ka Aedilis has released the first building in their new Medici series. As the name suggests, this series will have a Renaissance feel but it will also suit various types of fantasy roleplay. The Townhouse Cosimo is perhaps primarily intended for city builds, but I liked the idea of setting it up as a secluded manor house." Read more on the blog.
"I started to landmark hop and landed on some stunning rental sims, sadly we’re almost outta luck if we want to rent any of the homes spread over ten sims as I could only see two actual vacancies and two which were soon to be vacant but I suspect as soon as a vacancy comes up it’s snapped up." "My monthly styling sessions with the NX-Nardcotix David mesh body seem to be yet another marker for just how fast time is going by, but only in hindsight. Moments can drag on while I’m still in the middle of them, but once they’re behind me, it feels like they were secretly fast-forwarding all along." Read more on the blog.
"Sometimes I just go and explore places and hope nobody is around and I can have an entire Sim to myself. I sit there and enjoy the silence because the silence has become familiar. I don't always have to have people around me, I enjoy the solitude." Read more on the blog.

Enjoy the scariest rides with a full belly! Try not to get sick too often! And if you win the Challenge, there's a prize..." Read more on the blog.
"It has been a while since I updated here. Part of that has been due to recent health issues brought on by the sub-zero temperatures we experience the week before last, which greatly reduced the time I’ve been able to spend in Second Life. Yesterday was the sixth anniversary (or ‘Rez-Day’ as it’s called by some folks) of my joining Second Life. Sadly, I wasn’t feeling up to celebrating, so it was pretty low-key this year." "Vice President of Engineering Oz Linden announced on Tuesday his departure from Linden Lab®. His last day with the company will be Friday, Feb. 26." Read more on the blog.
"The other week I explored Planet Idun, a Sci Fi jungle planet. Great for free form roleplay and photography. I took some pretty pics (if I may say so) and planned to return for some more exploring and information for a blogpost. So I did tonight, alas the region is closed, open only to certain groups." "Thanks to the suggestion of Jarla Capalini, a photographer I think is excellent in the panorama of SL bloggers, I had the pleasure to know Skrunda 2, a new destination with a post-apocalyptic/grunge style." Read more on the blog.
"I love weekend morning routines! Get my crazy sleepy hair controlled in a ponytail, with clips or whatever I find, and get fresh coffee done!" Read more on the blog.
"In the early evening hours, Dr Ebenezer Hyde often retired to the salon with his young bride. When the soft ticking of the gears approached, he briefly raised his eyes to examine his latest invention. He had named her Dorothy. The gears on her back were connected to the mechanisms inside her. Under her human skin, she was some kind of mechanical insect that – if you wound it up in the morning – did its duty all day long." Read more on the blog.
