  1. ?This has been happening lately, about every 10-5 minutes the game/graphics Volume will turn off and everything disappears leaving literally everything invisible except for the basic mesh of my avatar. I have to hit cont+Shift+Alt+9 to turn it back on. pc 1year old, windows 10 desktop, nvidia 950.. I have other games such as Black Desert Online which is extremely high in graphics and I do not have any issues anywhere except in SL. I use the latest firestorm viewer, all drives are up to date.. feels like a glitch in game. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
  2. As a group owner.. is there a way to see specifically when a member joins? It's a paid membership and I cannot even find any notice is transactions. Any input would be appreciated, thanks. :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:
  3. Merchants by MP agreement.. are not allowed to completely remove a listing and then re-add it to the MP as a way of getting around bad reviews. If they are caught doing that LL will permanently remove the item from MP and the merchant will not be allowed to re-list it ever again. Many one star reviews are also malicious behavior of other merchants trying to drive traffic away from their competitors and to their own store. Any unhappy review I receive and I contact the customer to rectify the issue and make them happy. I have mostly run into customers that did not read the description or even the details on the catalog image or simply do not know how to use alpha's and etc.. and they get upset and instead of contacting me they jump in the MP and leave a bad review. After contacting them to instruct/teach or create a custom fitting for their avie.. they have happily gone back to change the review and state how happy they now are. Malicious behavior is obvious as the customer wont ever respond, even though they are always online and active.. states incorrect information in the review that is impossible and will not accept any assistance from the creator. These actions need to be recorded and given to LL where they can see the malicious behavior and then remove the review. But there must be clear evidence that it is indeed malicious behavior and not just a whinny creator complaining about a bad review. Customers are not the only ones that like to flame for invalid reasons but other merchants do so to eliminate the competition. Which I find more appalling then an unhappy customer that can be assisted and made happy.
  4. The SL Viewer that supports VMM is pretty empty. Meaning most of the regular options or.. should I say the wide array of options are not there. It's pretty standard. I would say try the new viewer for VMM, you may be able to use it just to transfer folders over once your ready to host them in the MP.
  5. A Parent Folder is any Main Folder that holds Sub folders inside. There is no reason that LL cannot identify the item listed within a Parent folder so that the Marketplace Listing inventory is better organized. As I've stated above I have tested it using firestorm and know it does not work. I know how to do everything else but really think the language between the MP and our inventory should allow for parent folders that still recognize the listed item. I am not the only one with hundreds upon hundreds of items listed and having to scroll through this massive list just to edit or update an item can be horrendous. The VMM is still in beta so hopefully LL will work on it and create a more organized MP Listing Inventory.
  6. I never wanted VMM at all to begin with which is why i did not volunteer to do it when it first came about. I do not like the fact that my inventory is accessed by purchasers or MP/LL every time an item is purchased from the MP. That opens up a slew of issues that can go wrong and lock me out of my account from time to time or even idenfinetely depending on the issue. My inventory should only be accessable by me and me only. The marketplace is on a different platform and therefor "uploading" to that platform was ideal. I don't know if LL thought it would be a great update for all merchants wanting brownie points or that they wish to delete their old database used to store all items uploaded. Either way its not a favorable system for merchants. As far as the new LL viewer.. its sucks royally but for me.. i will continue to use firestorm and just hop on the VMM viewer just to move my item folders to the mp listed folder. its indeed a pain and no one likes to be forced to do anything.. especially since we are so used to doing things a certain way for a long period of time. But everything gets updated eventually. I update my stores and items and contact my customers personally to notify them of updates and give it directly to them. That takes hours actually to go through my sales reports and look up each buyer then paste their name in search to pull up their profile then IM them explaining the update and drag a new updated item into the profile to send them. In fact the only feature I like is that i will no longer have to do that. Which for me is a big deal because i do not just let my old items sit there. I like to keep things fresh. So... idk.. as long as my store is still functioning I guess I will roll with the punches and hope LL works WITH me and others on this VMM.
  7. In MP under Merchant Home, the link "Viewer-Mangaged Marketplace" will take you to a thread started on the 16th that has the link "Second Life VMM Viewer" which will take you here.. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/3.8.2.303583 Windows version is the one I am using.
  8. The viewer that I am running that supports VMM (for me) was posted on the 16th. https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Commerce/Viewer-Managed-Marketplace-Released-Migration-Begins-July-23/ba-p/2949604 There is the thread that was linked in my MP under Manage Marketplace. That's were I stumbled upon the one that I am using. Interesting to hear there are "privilaged merchants" I started to read through VMM threads and its all a mess, but usually is, so I have not read through everything that is being said. I run windows 7 and so far.. the new vmm viewer has not given me any problems. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Although I dread the release of windows 10 as im sure ill have more issues to deal with then. Many.. too many merchants closed their business down over a year ago because LL has full rights to do whatever they want whenever they want and that was not okay with them. But most programs I do business with all work this way now so I decided to keep going. It might bite me in the ars later but for me.. thats later.
  9. My stores are my full time job as well.:smileywink: I have been dealing with the auto migrate all morning and messing with the viewer that supports VMM. The only way to test it properly in beta is to make it wide spread across the board for everyone. You cannot have just a few volunteers use the new VMM and Viewer and expect LL to work out all the kinks before making it live. You will still have a ton of people that did not opt to volunteer suddenly come up with new issues that were not apparent with the few volunteers. In any case.. there is a viewer that supports VMM.
  10. Ok so the link is wrong. After downloading and restarting my system I could not find the thread but regardless.. The Latest viewer that LL offers for VMM supports VMM. Everything Beta is tested live in order to see what changes need to be brought on.
  11. You mean beta viewer for VMM? VMM is still in beta stages as well. The viewer (aside from being crappy compared to firestorm) Supports all functions for SL as well as VMM.
  12. I just downloaded it an hour ago from a link that LL offered and it supports VMM just fine. Unless I'm missing something?!
  13. The latest version of SL viewer supports VMM. http://secondlife.com/support/downloads/
  14. (can't find it posted in the mess of threads):smileyfrustrated: So.. I was auto migrated this morning. The only plus side is that LL moved my listings to listings folder for me. However this is not worth the nightmare of the entire VMM... thing. :smileymad: Question... Am I not able to create "Parent Folders" in the Marketplace Listings Folder? Someone PLEASE tell me this is not true. :smileysurprised: What do I mean? I have clothing outfits.. which offer MANY color choices for separate purchase. My original inventory was set up to have a parent folder of the outfits and then within that the sub folders of color choices. Without parent folders in the new marketplace listing folder its just a huge mess of every single listing. Do I really have to scroll through every item in order to get to the listing I need? :smileysad: Not to mention the fact that I'm forced to use this new SL viewer which.. sorry im bluntly honest.. is pure crap! It's completely different then all other versions and my beloved Firestorm. Toolbar buttons that I use for my business like Chat logs and Teleport history is no longer available? but stupid twitter is?? And my profile has gone from a cute bubble profile to a crappy ugly website layout with extra steps just to view certain things and just omg LL really?? There is soooo much wrong with the new SL viewer that I'm FORCED to use that I could go on forever.. Rant Over.:matte-motes-evil: Could someone that has been using the VMM for a while let me know if there is an option to create a Parent Folder for each Item to hold each buying option. TIA!:smileywink: Update.. I though maybe I found away around this.. In firestorm I am able to create Parent Folders for the Marketplace Listings. However I tested this out using two oufits and once placed in the Parent Folder.. LL no longer sends the item to the purchaser. It doesn't seem to link up. So in removing the parent folders the items now deliver as normal. So just incase anyone else thinks to try that.. don't.. It doesn't work. :matte-motes-not-entertained:
