  1. You know its serious when people start agreeing with Prok. Well said Prok, great job.
  2. When internal company politicians (you know who you are) start making decisions based on bad field data and emotions, things just go downhill. This really is the dumbest thing i've seen in post 2007 Second Life. I would certainly love to hear that they are reversing this until a better solution can be found. However, I think we have a solid 5% chance they will revert.
  3. As of yesterday I have prohibited the use of Redzone, Quickware Alts or any system or device that uses alt matching metrics on any of of my rental sims. Reaction from my renters rather enthusuastic on this policy change.
  4. I wish they would just come right on out and tell us that the only reason they are moving to a social media platform is to collect advertising dollars that they desperately need.
  5. I have a feeling youre using an AGP video card as well wish has long since gone the way of the Dodo. Time to invest in a new computer if possible, then you can really see the beauty that is SL.
  6. Enable damage on your land then shoot him till he dies (and goes back to its home).
  7. @Shockwave Maybe the reverse is order then. Not allow teens possesion of items that dont have a special "teen" persmission on them. That way when creators make something they can then detimine if the product is "teen friendly" or not. That way all the older objects wouldnt be allowed for teens to possess. That sounds like a much better system system.
  8. Something that I think would help with the teen transition would be a new object permission to declare an object "adult or mature" by the creator. That way teens wouldnt be able to purchase, see, rez or have transferred to then an adult item. It wouldnt help with the multitude of items currently available right now but I do think it give adult content creators some reassurance that thier items wouldnt fall into teen inventories either through direct purchase or by a resident transfer (intentional or not).
  9. I'm wondering if this is another form of cost cutting in a legal sense. Since by making special adult only area's and restricting teens (that have declared themselves as teens to LL) to G/PG area's only, does that provide resonable accommodation for preventing teens access to adult material thus switching legal responsibility for any adult content that a teen comes in contact with to the adult resident and not to LL. I wonder if the same laws protecting ISP's, webhost's, usenet, ftp, ect would apply to SL because of the changes they have made. Thsi is just a brainstorm in my head and makes sense on the surface level. Then again maybe i need to fit myself for a new tinfoil hat.
  10. Cant wait for the group limit increase and better group chat service! Way to go!!!
  11. Yes, but leashig a child av with an RLV enabled device does seem a bit suspiscious to me..
  12. Try rolling back to an older driver. ATI dropped support for these cards a while back.
  13. That just means to politely file another or reopen your ticket stating you have checked and it is not there. Let LL look for it at that point.
  14. If I was going to buy a laptop and not a desktop the Toshiba Qosmio would be at the top of my list. It offers quite a punch for $1500us. http://laptops.toshiba.com/laptops/qosmio/X500
