  1. I would like to use this building as a store, but want to know what is written on the signs. Can anyone help me? https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/SOUKO-JAPAN-STORE-WAREHOUSE/847080
  2. I rent a sim(Avant) through an agency, I have estate controls, the land is deeded to a group I own. Hanging out on the sim, nothing unusual, maybe ten or so of us on the sim, three of us nearby. I moved some furniture, we opened a few boxes and took their contents into our inventories. All three of us using the Phoenix viewer. All three of us crashed simultaneously- not sure about the others on the sim. On returning, the furniture I had moved was back in its original positions. The contents from the objects we had rezzed and opened were still in our inventories. We cleared cache and returned, reset the sim just in case, even tried viewer 2, nothing changed this apparent "roll back" that has occurred on the sim. Before I do anything else, I want to make sure nothing's WRONG with the sim. Has anyone heard of this happening and/or have any idea what might have caused it? Some of the objects I moved were high price non-copiables so I'm reluctant to take them into my inventory or move them again just in case.
  3. I don't have the time to give a full review of every product I buy. I make sure to give a full review to products I am particularly impressed by, and a warning if a product doesn't match expectations given by their marketplace description. But most of the time if a product just met my expectations without being particularly great or particularly bad, I'd prefer just to leave a star rating and not go into anything deeper. The old xstreet allowed you to put star ratings on a product without writing a text review. I haven't done ratings in a long time and thought I should probably go back into my order history and get some done. But it seems now, you can't give a star rating without a full review. I put in the star rating and hit 'post review', but it won't let me unless I've put a title and content into the other spaces. I see star ratings without any text reviews- are those only imports from the old system? Seems a shame you have to do the whole shebang just to leave a star rating in the new system. Has anyone seen this? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
  4. Because that is not the question, helpy helperton!
  5. Because then it restricts the number of prims on that parcel, and I don't want to do that.
  6. I own an estate sim. It is set to a group I own, but the land is not owned by the group(and never will be). I have a few parcels on which I am renting out homes. The parcels are not purchased by my renters, they are merely on the land. I would like to enable them to change their audio settings somehow. I have heard various confusing answers about why or why not this can be done. I am hoping I can do something like... deed a player to my group that can be controlled by anyone and/or just members of that group? If that's possible can someone point me to a player that has those kinds of control options? Any help- as precise and complete as possible- is very much appreciated :) Thanks guys

  8. Lots of people do, believe it or not. The PG family-style RP community is one of the fastest growing subcultures in SL, believe it or not. That said, we have one investor now- looking for two more. Silvercrest will be opening on our home sim April 18th, if you're interested in teaching or attending, stop by to get an application. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Salamis/127/132/60/
  9. School RP is becoming more and more popular in Second Life. There are a few high schools out there, but I have heard from a lot of people that they aren't happy with the quality or atmosphere. I'm out to change that. I have built a new high school campus called Silvercrest(it's easy to find in search). I have gotten a ton of response since the day I got the land. The problem is, we need a full sim in order to handle the traffic. School RP sims tend to support themselves almost entirely- ONCE they are up and running. We need 3 individuals willing to take on the tier of a quarter of the sim for two to three months. Details below- please contact me in world if you're interested. Silvercrest cannot stay on our current homestead sim. We must expand to a full sim in order to meet traffic demands of what is turning out to be a tremendously popular school! Second Life families and teens are in need of a high quality, safe school to attend. From the day we broke ground on our current sim, we have received enormous traffic numbers. People are interested, people want to be involved. Second Life schools DO pull in money. They make about enough to cover their tier. A school like Silvercrest is poised to become the most popular school on the grid. +++++++++++++PROPOSAL+++++++++++++++ Silvercrest needs 3 investors willing to front 80 dollars a month(the cost of renting a quarter of the sim) for two to three months, after which the school will begin to support itself. These rentals will be in the investor's name, safeguarding you from any scams or ripoffs. Marchesa is also willing to share real life information with investors to help them feel secure. This will allow us to rent an entire sim, half of which will contain the Silvercrest campus and sports fields. The remaining two quarters will be designed in a similar manner to the Silvercrest campus and become a rentable dormitories for students, rentable housing for Silvercrest families, and a small shopping center. Investors will of course be welcome to live in one of the houses and/or use the shopping center for their personal businesses so long as they continue to fund the Silvercrest property. While Marchesa will remain the sim designer, investors will become board members who vote on all major decisions. This is a great opportunity to get in on something unique and special in Second Life- for no more money than most of us spend in Second Life per month! Contact Marchesa Isenia if you are interested.
