  1. Thank you! The instructions are missing that crucial bit of info
  2. Hello - is anyone around who has experience/understanding of faux rezzers? I rez a pre-built structure I've bought and leave the rezzer in place. I resize a wall using EDIT LINKED. I "store" the structure with the rezzer menu I still have open. I close the rezzer menu –– click on the rezzer again to retrieve the menu and I get a REZ only menu as if I've never rezzed the structure. If I click REZ it rezzes another copy that doesn't contain my mods even though I STORED earlier. Have I broken the rezzer by editing objects using EDIT LINKED and then STORING? Seems the STORE function doesn't work(?) OR do I need to purchase my own rezzer and use it to save my mod version of the house? Is there a better way to save the modified house? Thank you!
  3. Drake: to answer your question "Are there really that many people with hundreds of items in their favorites?" YES. I wonder how YOU can only have a page and a half. LOL. I have a long list of projects in my mind . . . it's useful to see options and have a visual scrapbook of possibilities if you will, that you don't want to lose track of. I also find stuff moves around and I don't know what the priority is for the stuff that's listed -- why can't it be by date, at the very least? Never is. Thanks for your reply
  4. Hey--is there a way to search for a specific item on my FAVORITES pages? I have at least 30 pp. worth of faves and I like to search there prior to looking for an item on the marketplace from scratch in case I favorited an item I've long since forgotten about that I might need later.
  5. I often see photographic-like imagery on wooden walls or on floors, etc. where it does not "replace" the underlying texture. How is this done? Can it be achieved w/out creating another prim? A look something like this, but with a photographi or other image. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/10-WALL-STENCILS-ALPHA-1/847094
  6. And this was the problem! LOL Thank you!
  7. When logging on or teleporting to a different region I arrive in the CROUCH position, and the CROUCH arrow on my movement tool palette is ON or permanently highlighted in Firestorm Beta. AVATAR HEALTH> STOP ANIMATIONS straightens me up for a bit until I sit down or TP or get back up off a seat again, but during that time the CROUCH arrow is stuck in highlight as if permanently on. STOP ANIMATION huds I've used don't seem to correct either.
  8. And thank you, Catnap, for the extensive explanation of "how" to do a bubble right! Great info I had not considered before and love the idea of making a "planet" . . . Cheers!
  9. Thank you so much for the prompt and excellent (as always) information. Merci Jetaime!
  10. Hello–I'm wanting my own meditational place in SL –– without understanding all limitations/possibilities my mind's eye is to just rent a piece of sky anywhere and put a small modifiable prefab house I've purchased, where I can then erect the prefab as a skybox for both economy and privacy (I don't mind if an occasional av 'drops' in once in a while), but be in complete control of how it looks. I'd surround the piece of sky or parcel with a scenic surround (preferably one I created) so anything else around me was non-viewable if I didn't like it (my own little bubble) and then continue to mod/experiment with the living quarters and landscaping wi†hin the surround as I pleased, possibly building my own custom house as I learned from tearing the first one apart ;) Which parts of this is a pipedream? I'd guess the most obvious is the prim count I'm allowed, as I'd like to do extensive landscaping within that parcel. And, though I add the surround, won't I still hear whatever media is in place, i.e. I can't block that out in my own little bubble, correct? And, if you rent a parcel, does that include the complete vertical span or 'column' of that parcel? or are there parcels chunked out vertically also? Thank you!
  11. In a related question –– let's say I build something/whatever – from an entire themed sim or estate to simply plopping down a structure with a chair in it. Then I need to move, for whatever reason. Can I "pack up" everything I've created to install it somewhere else or store digitally so that I do not lose my time investment in whatever I've created?
