  1. I just changed into Lelutka Head this past December, so I'm a bit new to it. I'm having a problem on the eyes. I'm wearing the Lelutka eyes and the alpha, and the BOM from the HUD is not on. I'm also wearing small system eyes (can't do without it, right?) and the Eye Depth is a safe 50 on the sliders. Things do look great but once in a while the eyes appear to be off, or poking through the upper lids. There must be something that I am missing or not doing right. Any input is appreciated. SOLUTION: I activated the BOM on the Lelutka HUD and now no longer wearing any alpha.
  2. I personally like the details/textures of mesh (esp. at the underneath where the front and back meet, which BOM has yet to accomplish). If only there's not a mesh over mesh poke-through, I would most definitely choose mesh underwear.
  3. I am contributing to a post that has been made years ago (2019), shortly before BOM was born. So this topic is more relevant now than it was back in 2019. Okay, as for the question: "Is wearing underwear that important to you? Do you have to wear underwear when youโ€™re getting dressed?" My answer is simple: Yes, I wear underwear all the time. BOM underwear, not mesh. Why BOM underwear all the time? 1. It never pokes through mesh clothing. 2. It auto-covers your "bits" when you land after teleporting. 3. It looks cleaner and comfier.
  4. Thank you, Marianne and RowanMinx. I most definitely will try the blush layer. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - AND THIS IS IT. For anyone who is having the same issue, I have used the tattoo from the applier (not hairbase, just the tattoo). There's still a bit of that dark line on the neck, but is barely noticeable, and is acceptable. Again my thanks to the ladies' help. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  5. Yes I sent a notecard to the CSR too.
  6. Hi Marriane, thanks for the quick response Pardon the error in the photo I've initially posted. I just sent the correct one. The Genus chat is down at the moment, so I posted on here.
  7. Hello, I need help with this Omega applier hairbase not displaying correctly on my Genus head. (Picture A) There is a tattoo layer included in its package, and although it displays flawlessly, there's an unpleasant black outline appearing on my neck. (Picture B) So I wear the applier instead, which for me is 'the lesser evil'. Is this because i'm wearing a man hair on a female mesh head? Thanks. I appreciate any input.
  8. UPDATE: For those having the same issue, you're better off wearing the applier hairbase instead of the tattoo layer (even if it's BOM). No dark lines, clean and smooth.
  9. Thank you for all your input, guys. I've contacted the creator of the hairbase (as per her specified instructions in her profile sans a CSR). Even if I did not get a response after more than two weeks of waiting, at least I learned something from all of you. โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘
  10. Yes, one particular hairbase (and a couple others) do it. Thank you for pointing that out.
  11. There is a visible black outline of my neck bone whenever I wear a tattoo layer hairbase. How do I get rid of it? Thank you.
  12. Thanks, Willow. I have downloaded the official Second Life viewer, but I got the same error message. I'd be happy to submit a support ticket, and will be doing it right now.
  13. Good day everyone. I can't open the Firestorm viewer after I had a pc reformat 3 days ago. No changes were made to my laptop, except the said reformat. I'm using a laptop, with the following specs: Windows 7 Ultimate Copyright 2009 Microsoft Corporation Service Pack 1 Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6400 @2.00GHz 2.00GHz Display Adapter: Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1) Installed Memory (RAM): 3.00GB System Type: 64-bit Operating System I have tried the following: 1. Intel graphics card update https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ 2. Fix instructions in the Firestorm (and carefully followed everything): http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_intel_fix_32bit 3. I even tried this https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005474/graphics-drivers.html 4. All crazy things that I could think of, but no success, so far All I keep getting is white error message boxes, either 'update needed' or 'not meeting requirements'. It doesn't make sense because I was on Second Life just days ago. I obviously need better ideas. Please help me, I miss my Second Life :-( Thank you in advance.

Try Radegast or Metabolt off this list. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory I have used both in the past. I prefer metabolt but that is more because I used it first rather than any in depth comparison between the two. Most people seem to use Radegast if they are using a text viewer. Hi again Aethelwine. I checked out the link and I was also preferring to try the Metabolt over Radegast since you have used both and went back to using Metabolt. :matte-motes-smile: I got to download both, however, when the Metabolt installation failed due to the lacking three .NET files from my pc. Same thing with Radegast, so I decided I'd install a text viewer in the event that I'd be required to do so.

Maybe the scene is just very complex to render or my settings are too high or the graphics card is getting too hot. I will definitely apply these settings and follow your tips. Thanks, Ohijiro. Btw I checked out the link. I find it helpful as I learned more about what griefers are capable of doing, and what we can do to fight back somehow.
