A person with a regular IQ would have Googled him. We as humans are unable to choose our intelligence quotients.

Coby's SL Photos Yeah, isn't that very sad? However much we try we cannot make the avatars to look like real persons. :smileysad: Sniff... Guess what, deary, you are a real person! You are more beautiful than anyone trying to be you could be! How do you know? Coby could be the most advanced AI on a test run. Artificial intelligences are people too.

Sound advice - yes I do realize this is a bit ambitious but as you say, until you've taught the course once, you won't have a good idea what part of it is a keeper and which components are not practical. I imagine this run through will allow me to better focus the course for the following semester. Unfortunately part of keeping a focus is using this VR platform as a way to tie together the other aspects of digital media. That's why that seems to be the focus although really, they are getting a broader range of skills (or that is the intent). Like with GIMP - I won't be able to teach all of GIMP, but they'll learn a few uses of it and if they enjoy using it, maybe they will take the initiative or learning more on their own. That is the thought, at least ^.^ Don't listen to him, he is a known impostor, he won't even list his credentials!
  4. Oh, that is totally illegal. Expect the awethoritayz to get involved soon!

  8. You ever heard of the Internet? You can type things into the search engines and get answers. Second Life is all about getting money, look it up.
  9. Log in with the official viewer, which does not have RLV, and remove all your stuff. Then you can go back to your pervy viewer and start all over again.
  10. Drake1Nightfire wrote: SL is not a video game. It is a video game. A virtual world would be where you would lose all sense of being in the real world. You would no longer have the sensation of sitting at your desk looking at monitors and using human interface devices. Think Avatar or The Matrix. Second Life is a video game on par with Pac Man, Super Mario Brothers, Angry Birds, and any other digital game. Until you can leave reality, you cannot be in virtual reality.

The people running the avatars are real people. Again, not a video game. Virtual World. Drake1 Nightfire wrote: Begging to be noticed... Wow. That sounds vaguely familiar.. I know I have heard that before. Something about attire and asking for it.. That was not specifically equating it to rape? Every character in any video game is run by a real person, minus the computer run characters, of course.
  12. First you equated taking screen grabs of video game characters to being a man without children of his own taking photos of children at a park. Then you equated taking screen grabs of video game characters to rape. Facts. You act as if video game characters are real people. My opinion.
  13. Hello all, Have any of you tried Googling this person's name? For those of you who do not know how to do so, I can tell you that this person is a young man, perhaps even a boy, who is on many many gaming forums asking all sorts of questions and I honestly do not think he is personally trying to troll. He even has a YouTube channel.
