Not comfortable with giftcards
Alicia Chenaux replied to Azura Lowbeam's topic in General Discussion Forum
Did you receive the gift card directly from the designer? As far as I know, NO reputable stores use a gift card that makes you grant them debit permissions. But a great many scammers go to very nice stores and offer "gift cards." This is why so many stores have had to do pop ups when you enter telling you not to accept any gift cards from anyone at the store. -
Hi guys!! I have two residential parcels available on my sim, Bluebonnet! If you're looking for a quiet, family friendly, place to call home and you need lots of prims, c'mere. Parcel 1: 6256sqm / 1431 prims Parcel 2: 7936sqm / 1816 prims Both parcels are right next to each other, so if you wanted, you could have them combined. Life on Bluebonnet is pretty great, I won't lie. Because you do your own landscaping and use your own home, and the parcels are large, it becomes like your own little world. Pretty much all of my former renters have told me how much they have just adored living there and several are return renters. In fact, 3 of my renters have been living there since 2008!! Because this is a privately owned sim, not part of a huge land company, I cannot offer huge discounts. What I CAN offer is a more personal experience and a nice, quiet SLife. If you are interested in living on Bluebonnet, please IM me in world for more information and I will get back to you just as soon as I possibly can. :)

Why does mainland feel so empty to me ?
Alicia Chenaux replied to Ted McGregor's topic in General Discussion Forum
Mainland has a bad reputation for being ugly and laggy. But there is more you can do with a private island - like changing the seasons and terraforming it within an inch of its life. That's why the people that I know, including myself, have private islands rather than mainland property. We like being able to do what we want with it. -
This is it! Project Sunshine Goes Grid-Wide!
Alicia Chenaux replied to KarenMichelle Lane's topic in General Discussion Forum
Not gonna lie, I was already kind of giggling a bit at a group chat tonight with some people who had NEVER heard of Project Sunshine. I can only hope they're on up to date viewers or tomorrow is going to be a huge shock for them! :matte-motes-big-grin-squint: -

Alicia Chenaux replied to Caleb Linden's topic in Second Life Server
YES. Ohhhh yes! I could not be more excited!!! :matte-motes-big-grin: I've been waiting for this forever!! -
Hmm. I'm not sure, but you might try Aitui or Letis Tattoo. Maybe Garden of Ku as well.

Welcome to SL! I hope you enjoy it!

Oh, sadface! :mansad: I was hoping the server side stuff would be rolled out to the whole grid this week. I'm so so so looking forward to it because there's just such a difference in my SL experience with it. I've been trying to hang out mostly on LeTigre sims this past week because it's so nice! Crossing my fingers for next week!

Hi Ladies Who Love Heels - I Need Some Tips Please :)
Alicia Chenaux replied to TKAELA's topic in Your Avatar
I would recommend SLink because with some of her more current releases, there is a skin blender tattoo that helps greatly with the look of the fit. Unfortunately, unless you work with a shoe that does not have a prim foot, you often have to just get it fit as well as you can, then deal with the little seam line. But if it's a huge deal, ask the creator if there is any way they can help you size your shoe. Most of them are willing to help you out. -
Best Streams for Djing?
Alicia Chenaux replied to Aluviel Nakamura's topic in Art, Music and Photography
I've been using Neo Streams since 2008. There are several options for rentals. I have never once had a problem with them. -
Thinking about photography.
Alicia Chenaux replied to Khalessii's topic in Art, Music and Photography
With Windlight, you don't truly have a need of facelights. I have not worn a facelight since 2008 and most of the older, more established photographers in SL will tell you that it's unnecessary. Learn how to work your Windlight. If you need a light in your studio because you honestly cannot get the lighting right any other way, rez a prim and make it into a light. There are tutorials on blogs and on YouTube to show you how to do this. -
Embark on a Quest in Linden Realms: Collect Crystals, Earn Linden Dollars and Have a Blast!
Alicia Chenaux commented on Linden Lab's blog entry in Featured News
This game is quite fun! I played last month and it's just incredibly cute. The $L you can earn is a great bonus, but honestly, it's just fun! :smileyvery-happy:
