  1. This is an unusual property. It's sort of a triangle with protected Linden water on 2 sides AND the land can be terraformed (mostly) above water! So no fakey looking island platforms. The neighbors are super quiet. There are no ugly builds nearby. TIKI HOUSE NOT INCLUDED. Easy access to the open ocean from location. SLURL: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hyppa/80/83/21 Feel free to IM me or better yet, drop me a notecard with any questions.
  2. I am tiering down. This has been my home for almost 10 years. Unusual parcel! Unlike most water parcels, the land can be terraformed above water line so you really do have an island. The shape is triangular with Linden water on the long side of the triangle and partially on the end. Super quiet location and the neighbors are never around. Plus, the biggest neighbor uses her land just for prims and does not build on it (other than the stone land markers). One person owns a very small 384m piece on the end and they have not built on it for 2 years so I doubt you'll see anything next door. The house is NOT included with the sale but I can show you where to buy it. Low prims and very cool looking. REGION IS M RATED! Any questions feel free to drop me notecard in world. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hyppa/90/89/23
  3. With the blocking of SL by SOMA, I'm looking for more alternatives. Any updated lists floating around? Would be especially cool to find a replacement for their Secret Agent station.
  4. They've been saying that sort of stuff for a month now. it's only gotten worse.
  5. This has been borked for wayyyy too long. Cloud or no cloud, just fix it already. That is all.
  6. Try reapplying the tattoo layer AFTER you apply your other layers. Sometimes that restores it for me. I have these fully body tats that will reappear that way when the undie and clothing layers are insisting on priority. BOM of course will solve it but BOM is like alchemy.
  7. Meh. Not worth the time or effort. Which is probably why "creators" get away with this nonsense. Oh well. I gave it a 1 star review but really for something like this, you should be able to get your $L back.
  8. I bought an outfit on SLM. Turns out when you look at the texture, the creator has used a watermarked stock image from DepositPhotos.com. Of course it makes the item just plain ugly. But the other question is how can something like that be reported? LL doesn't have a category that allows a buyer to report IP theft (which this clearly is). EDIT: And the irony is they made it no mod/no copy.
  9. I suggest, for anyone running Singularity either on an older PC or simply for the classic interface, that you switch to Cool VL Viewer until the Singularity devs resolve the issues. Yeah you can use one of the nightly builds but those are essentially alpha releases and probably not good to rely on for anything important. Cool VL Viewer is stable, actively maintained (by Henri Beauchamp) and runs very well on underpowered systems. Cool VL Viewer is NOT in the third-party viewer list for reasons that Henri outlines on his website, sldev.free.fr.
  10. I have been told over and over in SL by various friends and acquaintances that are database experts that all of these requests really aren't that hard. It infuriates me that Linden Lab ignores things that have the potential to improve the customer experience exponentially AND increase their own revenues. Improvements to SLM would enhance sales, not subtract from it.
  11. Probably worth reporting to the JIRA as a bug if it's not already there. But in general, SLM search is pretty bad. And don't get me started on stale, useless listings like $1L system bikinis in 200 color ways from the same vendor.
  12. Another thing. If I want to CHANGE the search terms slightly, search starts all over from the TOP instead of there at the DRILL sub-category. Example: maitreya NOT demo Example: maitreya AND slink NOT demo
  13. Right. What happens is if you start with the search terms at the top of category, Marketplace responds as SEARCH - DRILL - RE-SEARCH - DRILL - RE-SEARCH etc. until you get to the desired category. Each "RE-SEARCH" reloads all the new found items. It would be easier and faster (and use less server resources I'd guess) to just do DRILL- DRILL - DRILL - DRILL - SEARCH (once). It's how Amazon and eBay both work. I don't need to be searching ALL Apparel for a bikini when that sub-category is 6 levels down from Apparel.
  14. You guys all missed the point of my original post! You should be able to DRILL down to the subcategory you want AND THEN search from there. Not put in search terms THEN drill. What Dakota stated was incorrect. You cannot DRILL first then search. It always pushes you back to what's in the dropdown box. Read below: Now see what Dakota said and then my reply. Does it make sense now?
  15. Sorry about the late responses here. Didn't see this reply. Anyway, Dakota, as much as I'd LOVE for this to be true it's simply not. Please look at the two screencaps below. The first shows drilling down through Apparel to get to Formal Gowns. I typed the search parameters into the search box. Then I hit enter. Then next screencap shows the results. They have popped back up to the top level main category of Apparel. The SEARCH IN category next to the search bar NEVER changes from whatever top level category you've selected and you can't select a drill-down category from it.
