  1. So, been looking for info a long time now. Curious how people are getting objects to be bigger than 64m in size. I know there are skyboxes (I own one) that is 1024m x 1024m. When we try to make it in blender, try to oversize it.. it gets resized down again. I am really curious because I want to make a box of my own, that isn't available on SL for sale (that I've found yet)
  2. If I want everyone at our show to see the video, it has to be via parcel. I cannot put a video link on a prim face by itself and play it. That's not going to work so that everyone sees it at once. Nothing fits properly within the face limits of second life No one seems to be able to help either no information exists to help All the answers i get isn't fixing the issue, its to do something that doesnt work. frustratingly stupid this is becoming
  3. I don't think you understand what I need and what others are having issues with too.
  4. I have a texture that is placed on a prim, for the media texture for the land. This you posted doesnt fix that. That's as if you were just putting a media face on a prim that isn't connected to anything else. It's not the same thing. I'm playing it through many many media players that connect to the media texture of the land parcel that has same image. it's not a prim face issue directly
  5. I've uploaded it to youtube. This seems a common problem and there's no finding info anywhere. Google or anywhere else, is the same issue. The file aspect ratio is fine in youtube, but when placed on a prim, no matter how much you adjust the face, the video does not sit within the face limitations normally for second life
  6. I dont know what to look for, I been over this for hours lol So, I created a video, some within SL and some outside. Its 1920 x 1080, 16:9. I uploaded it to YouTube, played it on my prim I created, even tried this via one of the media players out there. I have an issue without the video is displayed and there's nothing via the prim I can do to fix THIS issue I edit with Premier Pro by Adobe, I know someone that has the same problem with Sony Vegas. Few others that use other programs so i know its not just my software. I'm still learning this program (was my first edit from it lol) Edging of my video is cut off by SL. I can adjust the texture on the prim all I want, it doesnt bring the edgings of it back. This is my video in my media player (has edged frame around it) https://gyazo.com/26368fcb66d03dca71d60a9c8172f550 This is my video at full prim size just to look at it a sec https://gyazo.com/66294c2e6a452927bb0f9b3c15b76ca3 As you can see, adjusting texture face changes nothing https://gyazo.com/3e45ac901eb712d86b5d83a35851218c I need my whole video within the SL texture/prim to fit properly, how do I fix this? It's frustrating to try to find info on
  7. Is there a central location where you can find a better list of the upcoming yearly events? For Example the Sci Fi Expo in October, Burning Man 2 events, SL birthday events, the sci fi con thats on currently, fantasy fair, etc. The big time events not the monthly or yearly shopping events. I can't find anywhere and going through the SL events just shows DJ shows, club shows, small events. It's frustrating to try to find. Any help would be big time appreciated
  8. I am using Poser 11 currently, just to learn how animation is with bento. So, everything Is great except one area... shoulders. I know there is the upper arm (shoulder bone) and the collar bone. How the heck, do you animation shoulders for like if you need your arms raised without them tweeking out? I have done this is so many ways that I'm going to end up pulling out my hair over it. Any suggestions on how shoulders should work out? it's either they look dislocated, they have a HUGE dip in it, or there's a large lump and part of the back (shoulder blades) tends to crush itself in. I been going at this for days lol Any idea, would be great, its the only thing I can't get past
  9. It's just super discouraging but want to keep on my plan. heh just seeing all that's gone on in the last few months especially, its like WTF.
  10. What sucks is, a customer buying templates may not know who the original creators are because there is no way to fully mark that. So, a customer buying templates to use it legally and create items (I make some of my own as well as use some parts of templates at times because I am still learning), gets punished even more. So the customer, legit customer, isn't the bad guy.. the others are. It sucks because I realized later that many of the templates MAY HAVE been not sold by the original creator and it's getting harder to know WHO IS and ISNT legit anymore. There are so many full permission creators, the average user is not going to be able to keep up. I just recently stopped buying full perm items (clothing), because there are suddenly so many selling without permissions, unless I know their IN WORLD store personally. It's a mess. I wanted to make full perm items too but now I'm not wanting to do so.
  11. I am talking about the full perm items people are making, most of it seems to be clothing templates. People buy them then resell them at lower costs to scam money from the people that created it to begin with. I don't want my items resold and money taken from me, when I am the one that made it, not them. (not talking clothing, I cant make clothes yet to save my life in mesh yet). it's gotten crazy
  12. So, a friend is thinking about selling full perm animations for builders. I was thinking about selling full perm items myself. But I am seeing more and more right now (even when buying templates to use for some things I sell not full perm like clothes), a lot of avatars coming up on Marketplace, with obvious DCMA violations. Not just one or two but MANY. It's crazy. I really am not sure it's worth doing much on here these days as it's gotten so bad. Heck, I didnt realize a lot of templates I may have bought, might have been sold not by the original creator. So, I'm probably going to be out a hefty amount of linden if they are DCMA (as apparently in previous removals, you didn't get paid back). It's really hard to know who owns what as a buyer of items. I have just noticed the massive amount of full perm items going on marketplace by I think 3 different users atm, of the same items from MULTIPLE original creators. I am always getting spammed for all the "gatcha" item sales of obvious copybotted items. This last couple of months have gone insane, I hate buying things from most places and I think I'm going to stop buying clothing templates (I buy lots) because I can't tell which ones are legit. Frustrating, when you start really getting into understanding things, and its like Second Life has become a StopNRob with a side of reselling stolen goods on ebay. ugh
  13. Well, only posted it so people could see their stuff is there and go report theirs too. I'm sure they been reported before but why are they still here? Is LL not doing anything anymore?
  14. I took some screenshots, but there is a bot that spams groups, LOTS of groups to come to their location and buy up gatcha items. These vendors look obviously copybotted as the owner, creator, etc are all the same person. This includes vendors such as Truth (hair), L'Etre, Divinia Collection, Empire, ISON and many many others. They do this constantly on bots and if you say anything about copybotting, they flood the screen so no one can see it and ban you. It's laggy as hell and they move sims constantly. currently its at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bali/175/38/650 It gets FULL of people and they are in like 40 MAJOR creator groups
  15. Can't always just assume someone that doesn't have an inworld store is likely fraud. I know many many sellers that do not have an inworld store anymore and are great creators, not fraud. You miss out if you assume everyone has an inworld store.. not everyone wants to manage both lol I've yet to run into this issue of an empty box, but can imagine it could happen.
