  1. I have to Macs on the same network that get different results when teleporting. One Mac is connected to the router via Ethernet. From this Mac, I sometimes cannot telelport to places that I used to teleport to without issues. Today, I could not teleport to a place I was at every day this week! Instead, SL logs me out. The other Mac is connected to the network via WiFi. From this Mac, I can teleport everywhere. To try to get the wired-Mac to work, I have tried everything in this article: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Landmarks-teleporting-and-SLurls/ta-p/700123#Section_.1a Checked Maturity Settings (they are correct)Took off attachments (no difference)Teleported to Mainland (no difference getting to place I was yesterday)Flew up, then teleported (still failed, logged me out)Checked firewall configuration (it is as recommended)Checked Maximum Bandwidth (it is at 500kb)Tried to log in to my destination (failed)Checked for Network Lag (all green)And, for good measure: Cleared caches (every way possible)Reinstalled Second Life (and rebooted my Mac)Tried running SL from a brand new Mac user accountIt really doesn't make any sense to me. How do I identify what is different about the wired-Mac that would have an impact on teleportation? What do people suggest? (Save your time: I'll try to run the wired-Mac over WiFi next, but I'm not optimistic about that one. The intermittent nature of this one is what's most baffling... what is different today?) Update: March 7. Many thanks to Xisu and KarenMichelleLane for your advice. Unfortunately, changing the DNS servers as Xisu suggested did not change anything. I had already added them before, so I tried reordering my DNS servers so those two would be at the top. Again, no difference. Also unfortunately, switching the wired Mac to Wifi (and the Wifi one to Ethernet) only showed that the problem appears to be on the Mac (as well as independent of the Wifi/Ethernet connection). But since I have already installed a fresh copy and tried it from a different Mac user account, I cannot figure out what might be getting in the way on my Mac. It seems strange that the issue seems to change from day to day, too (as in, two days ago, I could get someplace on this Mac that I could not yesterday or today). Anyone have any additional advice? I'm all ears!
  2. I'm having the same issue, and I have done everything I've read about here. I'm really frustrated, as this was not happening two months ago. I have gone to the Test Male avatar I have reduced my bandwidth setting to the minimum allowed I have cleared my Cache and created a new cache location for my viewer I have tried Viewer 1 and Viewer 2 I have disabled HTTP textures I have checked my ping response (ranges between 50ms and 101ms) I cannot teleport anywhere! I'm very frustrated.
  3. I have this same problem, and I have tried multiple viewers and the above recommendations. I have had this issue over the past year or more, and what is most strange about it is that it appears to come and go. I wish I understood why, since it is as frustrating as all get out. I can TP some places, but many, many others -- logs me out!
