  1. Polynesia, which version of OS X are you running?
  2. It's brave of you to be here interacting when you probably don't know half of what's being thrown at you, so thank you for taking the time and for reaching out to residents. Because SL is a community, we are in many ways your biggest sales people and marketing assets, so engagement with this constituency is really important for product growth. (And despite whatever grumbling you might hear, we're all on the same page.)
  3. Scarlett, the SL client can be a memory hog, so try closing other open applications to see if it makes a difference. If your iMac has only 4 Mb of RAM (which is commonplace), try going to up 8 Mb. Freya, the Mac OS client of the SL viewer only supports OpenGL 2.1. It's not so much Apple's issue as it is for LL to update the viewer. For more on this, see in the Firestorm Jira: http://jira.phoenixviewer.com/browse/FIRE-8530.
  4. This issue makes it impossible for anyone to use full-perm mesh "template" items for resale on the Marketplace, either as stand-alone items or as part of a package.
  5. This problem seems to be viewer independent. On https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-4600, Dakota Linden said a few days ago, "The Dev Team is working to discover the underlying cause affecting the Merchant Outbox and when they have information or an update to the issue it will be posted to the Jira Ticket." She also added, on another reply, "The Dev Team does not have access to cases in the Support Portal and receives information from, and communicates with, residents through the Second Life Jira Ticket."
  6. As others have said, Nemo is gone. Sextan began to build something new at a sim called Liberty Cove, but unfortunately that is now shuttered as well, and he has closed his Marketplace store. He may re-open the Marketplace store at some point, but I wouldn't hold my breath. He's rarely in Second Life anymore and is doing some work in another grid. If you'd like to see more of Nemo (including its destruction), there are a few clips on my vimeo stream - http://vimeo.com/user5050923/videos.
  7. And the texture is in everyone's Inventory -- just search for "default transparent texture" and it should show up.
