  1. No offense, but I'll believe it when I see it. I have been a long-time supporter, defending Linden Labs when others shot it down - but at this point there is literally nothing in my life that I have put more work into for less reward. "Jump to change this." "Jump to change that." "Pay us weekly for a search listing that doesn't exist, then dry up and blow away. Oh, and have a good day in Second Life." I'll believe it when I see it.
  2. I was very surprised at how many "guests" were bi$%ing and moaning about the lack of features they were used to on their regular SL account. It clearly stated that the web viewer was designed for potential new residents so they could get a glimpse of Second Life easily, without having to download and install the program. I found all of the navigation to be simple and easy, just like the regular viewer. I did notice that there was a lack of definition in the distance that detracted from the depth and feel of 3D over all of the areas I visited. Did not have the resolution and contrast in the distance that makes the regular viewer experience vibrant. I loved the pop up menu along the bottom. I would really like to see this developed and implimented in future viewer versions as opposed to the side panel we have now for inventory, friends etc. It leaves so much more of the screen visible for building. The present system (side panel) obscures too much of the screen. If it were pop-up from the bottom, as in the web viewer, along the lines of many Macromedia programs such as Flash and Dreamweaver, with different tabs for build, inventory and all of their controls, it would be fantastic!
