Aufstieg Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 There seems to be random shading on this my avi, other people cant see it, But I can, It looks blotchy like im pieced together with shader blocks, Any help? edit: Shadows are turned off. Amethyst Jetaime Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 If other's can't see it but you can, it more than likely has to do with the way your computer is rendering the mesh. Check to be sure you have the latest drivers for you graphics card. Without any more information than you have given it's hard to say for sure. It would be helpful if you post your computer specs. Go to Help in your viewer then About <name of your viewer> and copy and paste what you see there here. A picture of your avatar would be helpful too. Cerise Sorbet Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 Looks like you have hardware skinning turned off, that really doesn't work out with rigged mesh. SWitch it on. If you had it turned off to work around the stretched mesh bug, turn advanced lighting on (can use it without shadows if you prefer). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Conifer Dada Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 I noticed this on some avatars - presumably rigged mesh ones - as someone mentioned above. As they suggset, check if you have the hardware skinning box ticked in on the bottom of the preferences / graphics menu. Ticking the box should cure the shadows problem, but you might end up seeing some mesh avatars and clothes badly distorted with a 'chewing-gum' effect instead! But in retrospec I should of make it something alittle less risky.. But without the risk there really is no pay off.
