And I want to be able to see that alt standing in front of me, without having to use a second computer to log on etc. I'm looking for an item that will allow me to bring my offline avatar inworld. There are services that allow you to maintain a "bot" that you can control from your main account. Those services charge you for the use of their computers and software, so you don't have to run a viewer on your own PC. Amethyst Jetaime Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 You can run more than one viewer at a time to have both you and your alt logged into SL. Of course, you computer has to be good enough to handle twice the load. Firestorm has a check off in Preferences to allow more than one copy of Firestorm to run at a time. If you use a viewer other than Firestorm, you viewer probably has one too although it may be located in a different place. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This way, the requirements for the second client are very much less than a second instance of say firestorm.
