How do you offer your Calling Card in viewer 2.5

I use the previous viewer. Previous sounds better than old. Many people do not know how to offer their Calling Cards.

Friendship is great but we've just met. Calling Cards are a great way to establish contact without sharing too many abilities too soon.

I agree, I preferred it over friending but I think based on personal experience that very very few people used the calling card feature.

I think I used it once in over 4 years but for that once it was nice to have the option hehe

There's an open jira on the missing ability of giving someone your calling card in Viewer 2.  You can ask a friend to pass you your own calling card, which you can then drag/share from your inventory and pass to a new acquaintance as a workaround.

Starting with Viewer 2.5.1, users get a copy of their own Calling Card in their Inventory.

Then, they can right-click their own Calling Card and use "Share" command to offer it to other users.

Admittely, right now I am on Viewer 2.5.1 - but I cannot find my  own Calling Card in my Inventory. This may be a temporary glitch, I'll try again later after clearing the cache. If you're on 2.5.1 and you experience the same problem, please report it at https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/STORM-28.
