Unless your "fresh" installation is a CLEAN installation, you are probably re-using a damaged file somewhere.  The crash logger is making a record of everything that happens just before you crash so that you'll know exactly where the problem is if you are tech savvy enough.  I strongly suggest doing a complete, clean re-installation of your viewer.  See if that fixes things.

So, are you doing a Clean Install, or are you trying to install a new copy on top of the old, damaged one and all of its hidden files? To do a Clean Install, you need to remove all traces of the previous installation first.
