Tattoo Layer

Can someone explain how to upload a texture as a tattoo layer in V2 of Secondlife viewer?

I would like to create a beauty mark and am not sure how to go about this.

Thank you for any help.

When you upload a texture to SL, the servers never have any idea how you might intend to use it. It might end up as a tattoo or a billboard. Your texture only becomes a tattoo when it's applied to an avatar. You do that by opening Appearance and checking the "Tattoo" tab. When it asks, select "Create New Tattoo."  Then select "Head Tattoo", "Upper Tattoo" or "Lower Tattoo", click the texture box and select the name of the texture you just uploaded. You're done.

Thank you for your reply.

I cannot find the tattoo tab though.

I right clicked on myself > EDIT SHAPE , but I cannot find the tab.

I am using the latest version of Secondlife viewer v2.

Thank you again.
