is there a way to change the skin if Interface? I have a of trouble seeing , mine is currently black

If you use the Firestorm viewer, you can choose any one of six UI skins in Preferences >>> http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/preferences_skins_tab

You can also create your own custom skin for the viewer interface in Firestorm >>> http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/phoenix:custom_ui_skins

If you are very skilled and adventurous, you could experiment with the XML files for the skin in your own viewer, all of which are in the  Skins >> XUI >> Default folder for your viewer in your computer's program directory.  I do not recommend messing with things like that unless you know what you are doing, though, because the results are likely to be very unpredictable.

If you want to change the UI in the Official Viewer, the simplest way is to download and install Hitomi Tipomi's Starlight Skins.

If you do this, you have to remember to update the skins at the same time you update the viewer, because it is very important to use the correct set of skins for the viewer version you're using.
