SL viewer does not detect NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 850M.

My new laptop ASUS N750J has an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 850M.  I installed SL viewer and  got the warning that the hardware is not good enough to run SL. I set the graphics slider to ULTRA but the check boxes for shaders and other advanced lighting features are all GREY and I can not enable them.   With Firestorm i have no warning and i can set all graphic features.

Hi Pam,

There's a viewer configuration file named "gputable.txt" that contains information for various graphics cards, telling the viewer just what the card supports. That table generally lags the market and you're suffering the consequences. Pter Moreau had a similar problem with his new computer and its 870m GPU, which he apparently resolved. You might IM him to see how he edited the table to make things go.
