How to delete a store from XL Street so I can create one in Marketplace?

I had an old defunct store on XL Street.  I want to delete the items and close the store. (I don't want to migrate, or try to, any of the items.

SL thinks I have a store on SL Marketplace.  But I can't add anything to it until I create a store  in SL. 

Of course I can't create a store because It thinks I have one.HELP!!!

You can't close a store.  You can only empty it and walk away.  Those of us who migrated to the current Direct Delivery almost two years ago may remember that this "can't create a store" used to happen occasionally if you hadn't fulfilled all the requirements, including having payment information on file AND indicating that the payment method can be used for in-world and Marketplace transactions.  Go to your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Account >>> Billing Information and check to see what you have authorized your PayPal or credit card to be used for.  If it doesn't say "Buying L$ in the viewer" or something like that, click the change link and adjust it.
