I recently downloaded second life, I played it before awhile ago maybe some years ago and never had this problem but recently it has like downloaded and I logged in and it says loading clothes and then clicks off and the crash log pops up and I tried everything (that I could think of) and I don't know what to do to fix it, I looked online and I tried lookig on the forums and some other people have the same problem but I don't see the problem being resolved and if it is then I just didn't hear about it or I just didn't work for my problem.

Your connection is probably failing very quickly, it's possible that it's weak or inadequate.

Second Life is an intense real-time streaming 3D world with complex shaders and mapping, the initial inrush of data can overload some network hardware.

If you're on Wireless, swap to a Wired connection.

Make sure that your local network links can sustain at least 100Mbit/s, and that your router and PC interface can manage the same speeds (typ. 1000Mbit/s / 1Gbps) to prevent any bottle-necking at the router side. Check that your PC is properly able to manage large amounts of HTTP data for caching (speedy hard disks are good, but a resource-light environment will help). You might also want to try a new router in-line to see if the router is the failing element.

For more help, post information relating to your network speed. Run speedtests to Arizona, USA (you'll want at least 5Mbit/s) and check that you're not using ISP-specific DNS routing, because this too is inadequate.

When you ask a tech question include information about your computer and viewer. If the viewer will at least show the login screen, get the info from the viewer's Help-About... and paste that into your post with your question. Help->About... provides all the version numbers we need.  To add your info to an existing question use OPTIONS->EDIT. It’s in the upper right of your post.

It also helps to know if you are using a laptop or a desktop and a wired or wireless connection.

Without that information all we can do is guess. That means you have to try all our bad guesses and eliminate them one by one. This is easier for all of us, if you give us good information to start with.

==============

There are a number of troubleshooting steps to work through. Without your hardware info we have no idea where to start you. So, try Google - Second Life Crashing on Start

Also,

Check that your computer meets the current System Requirements | Second Life.
