Problem with landing point in Firestorm viewer

Hello- I have been renting a new parcel for about a week.  For the past few days, when I log in, my av is rezzing under the house on my parcel.  This did not happen when I initially rented this parcel.

I am not able to change the landing point in the 'About Land' section, as recommended in the Firestorm wiki.

Any suggestions?

This has nothing to do with your viewer

If you rent unless the parcel is in your name or owned by your group you may not have the authority to change the landing point.  If the parcel is group owned by the landlords group, you need to check your role authorities in the group to see if you have this ability.  If not, the landlord will have to reset the landing point.

Do you have the house set as your "home position?"

If so, try resetting it.

Landing point should not effect where you wind up when logging in.

Hi Amethyst- thanks for the info.  I just checked for my 'parcel powers,'  but I don't think setting landing point is one.  I will contact the owner to reset.

Thanks Perrie- changing the landing point from the house seems to have done the trick.  Now I realize what happened.. I also changed homes in the past week.  The first house sat on the ground, and the second house sits up off the ground; I was apparently rezzing according to the placement of the first house :-)
