I needed to install the updated Second Life Viewer, so I uninstalled my current version. However, after installing the new version I get the message: “Second Life Viewer” can’t be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed. I am not sure why I get this message because I cleared all cache files for Second Life and uninstalled the old viewer. The new viewer will not open for me. I use Mac OSX Version 10.9.5. Everything was fine before I tried to install the new version of the SL viewer.

Here's an image of the error:

Anyone know how to fix this? Thank you for reading :)

I am having a similar problem in a fresh install of windows vista.  I used to be able to run the viewer installers, but now I get absolutely no response/feedback/errors/anything when I attempt to run.   I have tried running as a user and as admin.   Clicking on the .exe file does nothing.

Firestorm is acting the same way. However, drivers and other third party software runs without any problems.

Why or why has SL started to hate me all of a sudden???????  lol
