Xxaxx Constantine Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 This bug (I hope to heck you don't call this a feature) is very reproducible.Highlight text in a script, or in the slurl box.Click the mouse anywhere in that same script or box.Highlighted text is gone, cleared, deleted, removed.This is very dangerous behavior for any of us folks that use copy and paste.I hope this is on the fast track to being fixed.Or, if this is a feature, please tell me where in the preferences I can opt in for the non-delete highlighted text when I click with the mouse option. I an using the standard SL viewer, Second Life 3.6.1 (278007) Jun 27 2013 12:41:07 (Second Life Release). If you want to run something a little newer than the vanilla release but aren't into reporting bugs, the maintenance RC, currently http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/3.6.2.278900 would be a safer choice. Cerise Sorbet Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 There is a workaround for the notecard and script editors in that viewer, Ctrl+Z will restore the vanished text. But, for anyone editing scripts this can be a major pain. Just seems callous to force this into the populace.
