Kayleigh Dakun
Hello I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 graphics card and I can run ultra graphics just fine on Firestorm with no lagg. However, I'd prefer to be able to use the Second Life viewer but it does not recognize my graphics card therefore I can only run it on low graphics whereas my computer is perfectly capabale of being able to run it on ultra and I've heard that there is a way to add your card to the GPU table. I opened the gpu table (in notepad) and I can not make any sense from any of it and I was wondering if anybody would be able to point me in the right direction. Many thanks, Kayleigh Dakun. Theresa Tennyson
What version of the Second Life viewer are you trying to use? Recent versions no longer use the GPU table and instead use a built-in benchmark test (which has been known to cause its own problems.)
Kayleigh Dakun
Hello, after updating to one of the new benchmark beta viewers it actually works perfectly! Thank you very much for mentioning it as if you hadn't I never would've thought to check! Many thanks and sorry for my original stupidity haha! Kayleigh. ♥
