As there are no Second Life Viewers with Basic Mode this forum area is useless and can cause confusion.
Linden Lab please, time to make this forum area closed.
Make it read only, archive it, or whatever but don't leave it active anymore.

ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY AGREE!
What we need are specific subsections, one for TPV's, one for Mac & one for LInux users.
If they want to leave a section for the Official Viewer, I guess that is ok also.

Gosh, you're suggesting going back to the way things used to be?
We Mac users had our own section, before it was taken away in the great Forum "upgrade".
LL has taken great pains to illustrate their complete lack of support for anything not Microsoft related. I'd love to see the old Mac section back, but I doubt it will happen in this lifetime. It is a nice thought though!

Sometimes we get the feeling that for an employee at Linden Lab to display a sense of what 'customer service' is can be a dangerous trait to show at the Lab.
In other words, I'll be surprised to see it happen. Though they may still surprise us.
