Finest Yifu Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 Good morning,since days my friends and me had the problem that when we log in we can't see online friends as online; even when the nearby-list shows them and the my.account www page shows them. When I send a IM to such a friend he/she appears in friendlist and the msg '... is online' appears as it would be a new log-in. It's not a problem of the viewer, the same on firestorm, singularity, radegast, lumiya and even on a fresh and clean installed sl-viewer.Avis,who loged in after me, I see without problems .... any idea??? with best regardsfini Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The other day, while being at a crowded mainland region, I couldn't see any contacts online in my list until sending them an IM. Re-logged there twice and the issue persisted. As soon as I re-logged at home — also mainland — the problem disappeared. [EDIT] In this case I described above the issue may have been client related, though, since it took a lot of resources to load all those textures and "meshy" avatars.
