What is the problem with SL the last couple of days

I'm an 8 1/2 year veteran of SL..  What the heck is up with SL this last week?  I'm getting all sorts of old money transactions every time I log in, like from Sunday last and not from the same people; I can't transfer full perm objects; my avatar is an orange cloud no matter what I do - for two days straight - including the Craig avatar fixer -  Is this a sign of what's to come for SL?

I had sticky sys clothing on tuesday, took a few minutes to get on and off...... other than that nothing bad really, but did see an av with that rock that always used to appear stuck on you like 2 years ago(FS bridge?) which was strange. Has been some maintenance the last couple of days.
