The Grid is getting gnarly

One thing I have noticed, this weekend, is that sim-crossing is far less reliable. I made a non-stop flight, a few weeks ago, totalling 108km, but I wouldn't even try it now. It might be wrong to blame it on the long gap since the the last grid-wide server deployment, and the associated restarts, and the Lindens will be seeing figures that I cannot, but I keep seeing the pattern.

There have been great improvements in sim crossing. A year ago, I would have expected the trip I made to fail dismally. But we always see this gradual deterioration when the Grid doesn't get recular restarts.

The grid has refused to connect me at all for long periods of time, not responding for several hours during yesterday morning and today's afternoon. My poor internet connectiion is probably exercabating it though.

On the times it did respond it's been much more unstable, much more often failing teleports and with me being stuck running, flying or having stuck animations.
