Quinn30
Hey all, just wondering if someone might be able to help me with this one...I can login to SL, but after a minute or so it crashes, telling me 'mangled network data is detected'. I use Firestorm, but I've since removed it, done a clean install and tried again... no luckThen I tried SL Viewer and Singularity... no luckAny ideas would be greatly appreciated... thank you:matte-motes-mad:
Ohjiro Watanabe
It is a network problem, not the viewer. Could be your end, could be SL end or could be something in the middle. There has been some unscheduled maintenance on the SL grid over the last couple of days. If you are still having the problem try re-booting your router. Check that the router firewall is running correctly (if you don't know how to google your router make and model + firewall). Run a broadband speed test and see if the speed is what you expect. If not put in a support call to your supplier.
Nalates Urriah
While you may have a good Internet connection, that does not mean you have a good connection to Second Life. Read: http://blog.nalates.net/2011/10/26/troubleshoot-your-sl-connection/ Hopefully, that will help you figure out where the problem is.
Asquiol Blackadder
Did you ever get this issue fixed?
Samantha Avium
I get the same issue, but only in script heavy or traffic heavy areas and only with an external USB Wifi Adapter. Cisco Linksys WUSB600N V1 is the adapter i have.
