I'm still seeing this issue, can someone who understands e-mail addresses please take a look at it?

That JIRA was closed with a note/link to release notes from Commerce Team Linden.

"Change send from email address to service@mail.Secondlife.com for all marketplace emails."

There was no explanation given there for that choice but it does seem very generic.

Service@, DoNotReply@, Sales@ however are very common with a lot E Commerce receipts, etc.

It's frustrating because it doesn't matter what the e-mail address is.  The issue is that there's no sender name along with the e-mail address, like all the other Second Life services manage to do properly.  The person who closed it didn't seem to realize that, and didn't ask for any clarification.  They simply pointed to the fact that the current e-mail address had been decided upon about 8 months earlier, when the e-mail address itself is irrelevant.
