Second Life Server (main channel)

The main channel is getting the maintenance project which was introduced to all three RC channels last week. This project fixes some crash modes and some other miscellaneous bugs.

Second Life RC BlueSteel:

No rolls are scheduled for RC BlueSteel this week.

 

Second Life RC LeTigre:

No rolls are scheduled for RC LeTigre this week.

 

Second Life RC Magnum:

No rolls are scheduled for RC Magnum this week.

 

We will be monitoring this thread as the code gets released, so feel free to note any observations you have about the server updates.  If you have a specific bug you'd like to report, please file a Jira.

I do not know the number of JIRA, but since ago several months there are an annoying bug that is being used by grieffers.

The symptoms are:

• Not possible to rez objects. But it is possible to create new objects.
• Scripts in HUDs and attachements do not work.
• Huge lag.

  And i amazing, what is the status of that bug?

Hi JJ, that might be a known issue, but we'd have to check the sim logs to determine if it's a new type of problem.  If you file a Jira with details about specific incidents as (sim names and times), we could make that determination.

The fastest way you could fix the most used exploits is to monitor places that often execute them.

why not take a visit to the highest rated hotspots on the grid such as KOREA a linden owned welcome area.

There are several other crash/lag modes used daily in the Linden Weapons Testing region:

I don't think LL even monitors it to come up with fixes for said crash/lag modes though...

It looks like whoever updates the GSP is not singing form the same hymnsheet as you...they tell us that there are RC channel rolls occuring!
