At Tuesday's Server-Scripting group meeting the subject of ADITI login problems came up again. People are still having problems.

Some steps are being taken to fix the problem. It is more complex than one may think. See: #SL ADITI Grid Problems for details.

Part of the solution may be in culling users from ADITI and thus reducing the amount of data storage needed. The trick is in figuring out which users can be culled and what the selection criteria will be. This topic is up for discussion at the next Beta Server meeting in ADITI... if you can get there. HINT: using an Alt with a SMALL inventory improves your chance of logging in.

The Lindens are looking for some way to automate the data cleaning process for ADITI. I think users are more interested in not having to continnually wait for reloading inventory or having their login fail. Hopefully there is good middle ground that works for both intersts.

Andrew Linden did not get his research done in time for the Thursday meeting. So, he really could not talk much about what is being done with ADITI problems from the hard drivs filling up.

Several people wehere at the meeting to find out what the thinking was and offer their opinions. It is a bummer when this sort of thing happens. But, it is life with the Lab. Lindens get busy and forget things.

We may hear more at Andrew's next Tuesday's Server-Scripting meeting. We should probably email him Monday to remind him of the problem.
