Reviva is for vampires who have not fed or hibernated and as a result gone into coma where they have no blood left and cannot feed, the revival process does not force anyone not in the system to join it.

Please Martin, be sure of your facts before you post them, my offer still stands, anyone wishing to know more about progeny or hav ethewir minds put at rest please get in touch and i shall try to answer your questions, or find someone who can.  We don't annoy hassle or interfere with the day to day lives of SL residents.

I even promise anyone wanting to know more i won't atempt to bite you if we meet in wolrd while i am answering your questions. A vampire queen can't say fairer than that now can they?

I'd also like ot ask the OP of this thread, why no complaints about bloodlines or any of the other invasive systems or lunatic bahaviour Martin?  You have made 13 posts and al on this topic. 

Looks like a personal grudge against our role play system to me.

I very much agree with you that the description is related in this post (rape) is very strong and out of place.
There are many other things in SL that if more damaging than simple bites do not hurt any player other than progeny.
remained so even just die within a database system and can continue playing as your avi does not suffer any loss or damage.
I do not understand this attack on this system, we do no harm.

With the garlic necklace you registered on the Bloodlines servers saying you want out, it is not a "masking of your avatar" in their systems. The only way of staying out of their servers is to never encounter a BL vampire or visit their sims in which point you might very well send your information about your avatar thru a visitorcounter if they use one.

How can being bitten without your knowledge be any worse than walking into a store just to be registered on their hippo visit or any similar system AND be bombarded with 1,2 or more LM's, groupinvites, requests of showing your profilepicture and so on?

Next I almost expect to see that vampires steal your blood also! I can reply to that immediately, your blood is not yours. It only exists and are "invented" in the respective game.

When being bitten in Progeny system nothing happenes to your avatar, yes you lose the amount of blood but blood which only fictionally exsists for the Progeny system. You are far from being RAPED.

I find it much less upsetting than cam perving which is accepted and aprooved. There are various vampire systems in sl, not just Progeny and Bloodlines. For those systems I am not a part of, I am only a human just as any other person, even if I am a vampire in just one or two vampire systems.

In all systems but Bloodlines, vampire bites are silent. And I have no clue I have been bitten, and since I don't know and it is not affecting me in any way I don't care.

To me, being silently bitten in sl compared to various griefing attacks we have all been through on public places is absolutely not even worth of mentioning.

You don't have to worry about this system, the people they have are all power hungry and are driving it in the ground.  The people still in this system are nothing but sheep who have been waiting on a new HuD for over a year LOL!

First (to deal with a few misconceptions of the poster),

*Bloodlines has a garlic necklace option because the game sends a bite request IM.  Putting on the garlic necklace does not opt you out of their game.  In fact what it does is actually pastes your name permanently in their servers.  The bloodlines vamp gets a message that you don't want to be bothered.  You are still in their system however.

*Although I hesitate to dignify the "rape" thing with a response I'm going to say it again...it is a very silly (or not well thought out) comparison.  Rape is a crime.  Having a HUD on in SL is not a crime.  Now...for a bit of logic...complaining to LL regarding this will do nothing.  Why?  Because if anyone actually read the TOS they toss around they would discover that every avatar has an ID and LL has stated many times that scripts may aquire that ID freely.  You cannot complain about a script aquiring your ID because it's a necessary function of coding in LL. 

Sorry you are bothered by this but since the system actually doesn't bother you with IMs it is not any kind of invasion of your...anything.  Get used to it.  You probably wear a HUD or device (scanner or other such device) that does the same thing to other avatars on a script level that this game does.

Very good point and well made Freya, cam perving is annoying and much more of a personal invasion than the progeny bite, in fact you could almost liken the cam perving to voyeurism if the original poster wishes to make a valid point about a rl cimre having a counterpart in sl, there you go cam perving and voyeurism. Much nearer to stalking and rape then an innocne tbite doing no harm at all.
